That was Paul Anderson, but he's also getting a good track record for butchering movies by taking too many liberties with the source material (AvP, set in the arctic? HELLO? Predators hate/can't exist in cold for long, their bodies need a humid, jungle-like heat to survive!).. And yeah, RE3 got really fucking horrible.
Though, you gotta give that movie one thing; a room full of naked Mila Jovovich sounds like my idea of heaven!

One name for you though: Michael Bey. One movie for you: Transformers. Pathetic. Worse than Postal by far. Uwe's war is at least on the right guy.

Oh, yeah, Transformers had a totaly retarded story, and the acting was atrocious.. But anyone who went in to Transformers expecting something GOOD, as opposed to something cheezy, really needs to re-visit those old Transformers episodes and see how they stand up today.. I mean, the whole TV show was designed to sell toys, and their target audience was 7-13 year old boys.. When you're that age, you don't know what's good, bad or cheezy.. Big robots? WANT! Ooooh girl with big boobs! WANT!
As bad as the acting and story in Transformers was, the effects were out of this world.. It didn't look like CG, it looked like they were really there, on-screen with all of the actors, and honestly, these days that's a hell of a feat to accomplish. Realistic, 'the animated stuff doesn't look like it was just cheaply over-laied onto the film' quality CG hasn't been seen since the first 2 Jurasic Park movies and Terminator 2.. Transformers raised the bar a couple of notches when it comes to effect quality, and that's definitley worth at least something IMO.

Are you kidding me? Big dark shadows are supposed to be appealing to the eye? You can't make out details, and to claim that Bey is a realist is just well, weird.
Anyways, the original Transformers still holds up as one of the best animated films I've ever seen. Except for the voice of Hot Rod, and the kid in the robot suit, but meh, Unicron? Try to top that fuckedupness.

But the cartoon was so godamned awful. A dude with a dish cloth on his head fucks up the plans of his scientist (destro). Soldiers in BLUE fight American soldiers with LAZERS. For half an hour! I re-watched the movie recently and I was bored to tears. It was so bad. I don't want the G.I. movie to be like that. BTW, I liked Postal.

I bought the Special Edition DVD thinking it would be an awesome addition to my collection. I turned it off about 15minutes in to it. P.S: TRANSFORMERS: Revenge of the fallen. I predict a second round of garbage.
