The closest thing that I can think of as being a "positive" experience with cops was when my mother had once beaten me and kicked me out to go live with my father (I was in grade 6 at the time) and we went to file a police report, but they ended up doing fuck-all, didn't even call or visit her. |

 Coolness: 93220 | my last discussion with a cop who happenned to be a women cop, was after I got pulled over from going through a yellow light. Im not color blind and I know that my gf isnt either... anyways, so I asked her why she was ticketing me and she it was because I ran a red. So I told her that I was pretty sure it was yellow, but that I either way, I would appreciate a warning, cause I needed to get my breaks checked in the first place, for which she replied : " si tu continue a me parler comme ca monsieur, on peut appeler un towing pour embarque ton chars! Fait que ferme ta geule et attends ton billet..."
Both me and my gf were stunned, it wasnt like I was being aggressive with her or condescending, anyways, I couldnt believe what a bitch she was, and she so could have let me off with a warning, cause I swear the light was fuckin yellow... Ufot-towing cop cars, that would be kool |

I was very glad of this, so I went along with it, hoping I could get the whole thing dropped with my parents none the wiser. needless to say, the case didnt go away - I had to get a lawyer, and naturally they found out. weeks later the cop who charged me calls me down to the police station. he figured out that I was really only 17 and had deceived him. he could have charged me with Obstructing Justice right then and there, which is serious charge. I would have been convicted too. but instead he just chuckled - gave me a warning, corrected the birthdate, and let me off the hook. a lot of other cops woulda shown me no mercy. he understood I was just a kid who made a dumb move. thanks to him, and thanks to my lawyer, I have absolutely no criminal record. so, from my own personal experience, not *all* cops are bad L |

When I'm comitting a petty offense i.e: smoking a joint, being in a park passed 11, jaywalking, etc. The fucking popo is always there to fucking piss on your parade and show us how tough they are. When I was in the metro and a gang of thugs were harassing me to try and steal my DS or my GBA where the fuck was the police? I got away cuz I was smart enough to not let em in timidate me and yelled at em to get other people's attention, but still. When I got mugged for my bus pass as a kid, where the fuck was the police? Fuck the police, they are there and act tough when they should be dealing with worse crimes than jaywalking and when real shit happens they take their sweet fucking time. Maybe the cops in our generation will be better, but the old farts I see are mostly assholes who like power that got the job handed to em cuz they knew a cop. Yes it actually was like that before, my dad coulda been a cop he was offered the job with 0 experience and no highschool diploma... go figure. |

Remember : the cops being bred right now are being thought by old cops, and from i can tell, they have instilled that in the newbies as well. I remember on Masson last year, during the sidewalk sale, a police CADET giving me a shitload of attitude and bullshitting me about " respecting the law " because I crossed at a red light with no cars around... all the while about 50 old ladies were doing the same behind his back. I snickered while he was talking and started giving me the " oh you think it's funny ? " routine. I walked off. He's not a cop yet and he's already practicing his terrorizing speeches. More like a space cadet than a police cadet. |
