Wanting to save younger people from the irreparable damage to themselves they will do in order to attain popularity is a very humanitarian thing to do, albeit much beyond your ability to comprehend.

I might be wrong be I’ve always been under the impression that to be a good teacher, the most important thing is respect. If you don’t respect someone, very rarely will you be able to teach anything. That said to learn you also have to respect the person which is speaking.
By acting the way you are you demonstrate neither.

If I could explain myself, I would. But your minds are of such feeble ability that any such attempt, made many times, is extremely futile.

With evolution, some will come to see.

I am very patient, and I egg you on. Yes even through this board, even through your putrid hatred, I continue.

Someday, some will see.

“your minds are of such feeble ability”... to be a teacher you need to show respect...
“With evolution, some will come to see.” ...you clearly have not even the slightest understanding of what evolution is, I suggest that you start reading the Origin of The Species. You might learn a thing or two if you accept that maybe you.
“putrid hatred” a very colourful choice of words...but not one I would have expected from someone who is “very patient” with others

Is it about me showing how much better I am, or warring against mediocrity?

And if so, how could *YOU* tell the difference? That's right, you can't. You think you can, of course, because realizing you don't have that ability would be an admission of your own stupidity, yet being mediocre requires that you are blind to your own condition. Otherwise you would seek to IMPROVE upon yourself. Instead of just trying to continuously degrade yourself in unison with others and calling it "having fun", "being happy" and to the winner of the most ridiculously mediocre, degraded person "I loooooooooove you!"

You surpass yourself in this one. Do you know the guy? How do you know he does not have sufficient abilities or that he is stupid. I for one am under the impression that you judge him without demonstrating in anyway how you came to these conclusions...this judgement is, to me and to most people here, worthless (I am not saying what you said is untrue, just that the arguments you gave us do not demonstrate a very elaborate way of thinking).
Horus, with the very partial image that we have of you given what you have posted so far “being mediocre requires that you are blind to your own condition” seems to apply to you as much as anyone, you have not proven otherwise to anyone and you are also unable to see the blatant weakness of your argumentation.

Someone cannot degrade someone else.

I completely agree with you, please stop doing it to yourself

Yes and no. It would look very complex if I typed it, so I won't, coz it is kinda simple but it isn't intellectually easy. As a matter of fact, intellect is what keeps people from seeing these things.

So you are basically telling everyone that you are smarter than them...that your intellect is superior to their, that is usually sign of a superiority complex and shows no respect for the people you claim you want to liberate from their ways which are in your opinion incorrect.

Anyway, I have looked very deep into human nature, sociology, economics, the whole fucking thing. And finally got it. HOW it is that the people who so want to change things end up furthering the cause they so hate. And generation after generation it continues and increases.

This one does not even need commenting...

In the end, I understand your minds so thoroughly that I see that you will not go for the fun way so I get you riled up against things, which allows your minds to be steered in the direction that will allow the sprouting within your ranks of people who will break away from the pattern, and in turn help break the hellish pattern in which generations are intertwined, with as a result incalculable cost in suffering, unhappiness and so on.

DEFINITION: delusion of gran•deur n.
A delusion in which one believes oneself possessed of great importance, power, wealth, intellect, or ability.

I do this because I love you. I always have and I always will. I have never given up on you and I never ever will. So long as I have even the ability to bat an eyelid, I will fight with all I have the forces which seek to make of this world a hell. For it could well be Paradise

Yes, but sadly you seem unable to understand that you might also be part of the problem, and this world is only Hell if you make the choice of looking at it this way, for most of us it is not that bad. I am genuinely sad that for you the world is a hell. Get rid of that god complex and maybe you will be able to REALLY understand the world a little better.

The only problem I have with your REACTIONS is that they are knee-jerks. They do not show any ability to detach yourself from anything being told you. At least a semi-sentient being should have that. Otherwise you are but an animal. But that is OK, evolution will get to you eventually. You will resolutely
*HATE* that, I promise. But it's still good for you. ;)

Remember what I said about Darwin...and also about respecting the people to whom you preach...sorry, I mean try to teach!!!

Ah, the famous DrN! I was waiting for you!

You sir, are the epitomy, the super-leader, the ultra-example of people who think they are doing different but you are SO EXACTLY WHAT THE ESTABLISHMENT LOVES to further its cause. You sir, are the enemy of man.

Try replacing the name DrN with Horus and that statement would make a lot more sens

I have proven that concepts as a means of thinking are intrinsically flawed and create a disgusting mental prison in which, no matter what you do, you end up ensuring that whatever is wrong with this world GROWS. So basically no one needs convincing. Everyone needs UNconvincing. I am not trying to pass on "knowledge", for whatever I say gets interpreted and converted into concepts first, so any additional value is then lost, but then the words are made to fit into terms that correspond with the established basis.

DEFINITION:proof n.
- any factual evidence that helps to establish the truth of something; "if you have any proof for what you say, now is the time to produce it"
- a formal series of statements showing that if one thing is true something else necessarily follows from it
- validation: the act of validating; finding or testing the truth of something

....sorry but so far you have only proven your own flawed vision of the world and of pretty much everyone

Sadly I would have to befriend them at early teen-age, since pride, the enemy of man, grows to its paroxism around 20 or so years of age. It is best I intervene before then, and before too much damage is done.

If pride is the enemy of men, then it is sad that it seems to be your defining characteristic. I was going to write something about the “Sadly I would have to befriend them at early teen-age”, but I will refrain from doing it...

I see you as a weakness, possessed by a force which opposes me.
...
I have never stated that I was superior to anyone. All I'm saying is that I stumbled on something fantastic and it needs sharing

“never stated that I was superior to anyone”... I guess it is true that you never choose these words...the first part I quoted just because it was too damn funny

Yeah like:

-"love each other"
-"Take this, asshole, we nail you to a fucking cross you piece of shit"

They musta been right. I mean, fucking tard-ass on his high horse saying that loving each other is good. Fucking POS!

Wow, Horus is very delusional and doesn't even see it because he thinks he's all that. He thinks he's an enlightened person. But all he's saying are bullshit that shitted out of his mouth. We smell it; very dirty indeed. People like Anarkoid are smart enough to prove his reality wrong too! It's all because Horus and similar people just like him can't see beyond their own grandeur. They think that they are right and that anyone who disproves them are always wrong. But it's all a matter of practicality. Just look at Einstein, he was practical, he knew enough to know how the world works. Unlike this old fart, he's too stuck in his own bullshit to save himself the trouble to realise. And hopefully he'll get this through his narrow head. Because to be outside delusionment, you have to see beyond the delusion.

EDIT:// Back on topic, I think Obama will pimp out the whitehouse ;D

wow this thread has gone on and on and on...

i'm not taking any sides in this but i do want to point out a few things i think are pertinent.

-people don't like to admit that someone is more intelligent than they are. It's just the way people are it's hard for them to admit that someone else is smarter, very rarely do people want to say that they are stupid or ignorant or uninformed no matter where they are from (country or city, rich or poor).

-it really is mediocre and sub par people who want everyone to be equal, it's hard for them to admit that anyone could be better than them.

-we have an expectation that highly intelligent people should be humble about being intelligent if they aren't modest about their intelligence they are assumed to be arrogant pricks...we believe that they shouldn't show any pride in being intelligent, this is absurd.

-everyone needs to read more, straight up, stop watching tv get off the internet, not magazines, not newspapers, but BOOKS. and more non fiction.

-trash can the bullshit, if you think you re hiding it you re not, everyone can see you don't know what you're saying because you haven't done your homework, nobody is fooled.

anyway i will most likely get labeled as a dick and like horus for posting this.

That is if you assume that it's hard for EVERYONE to admit someone is
smarter than you. But that would be generalizing, like saying EVERYONE
on here is dumb. I have no problem admitting someone is more
intelligent than I am. I know my own limitations. The main problem
here lies in the fact that we are " told " someone is smarter without
concrete proof. I mean, when asking why someone is more intelligent
and having " you can never understand " as a reply, I'm sorry but that
is not proof of one's superior intellect. Besides, ANYONE CAN UNDERSTAND
if shown properly and given enough time.

That's bullshit. I honestly have no problem admitting someone's better
than I am. If I really were that smart, I'd be a quantum physician or
mathematician, like other people are. But if being really smart gives
you the right to constantly shove it in everyone's faces ALL THE TIME,
over analyze every single reply and blame everyone for their lack of
comprehension, I'd prefer to stay dumb, have fun and keep to myself.

Hey, I'm smart enough to know that yes, if I had an ability I was
proud of, I'd subconsciously would want to show it off. Who wouldn't ?
But there is a time and a place for such displays. And frequency can also
be an issue. I ask : if you were to throw a dinner at your house and invite
a good friend who's an expert lawyer and excels in his field, how would you
like it if that person kept making references to laws and legal implications
for EVERYTHING and every single comment that is uttered through the dinner ?
I can guarantee you that if not you, every guest you invited will be tired and
sometimes downright insulted by the incessant knowledge showcasing. In other
words, when people are enjoying themselves, can it and don't ruin it for everyone.

-everyone needs to read more, straight up, stop watching tv get off
the internet, not magazines, not newspapers, but BOOKS. and more non
fiction.

That is not going to make a difference. I know plenty of people who read
books, non-fiction, and they aren't more or less smarter. It's one thing to
read a book, it's another to understand it.

anyway i will most likely get labeled as a dick and like horus for posting this.

i think that we can all agree that reading the books is really the first step.

one thing i do actually agree with horus about is the fact that the way you conceptualize reality really makes a big difference to how you make judgments about it,
take this as really basic example, the israeli palestinian conflict,(i watched a documentary on it last night so it's on my mind) The israelies call gaza and the west bank 'disputed territories ' where the palestinians (and pretty much everyone else) calls them 'occupied territories' . This obviously makes a big difference.
.
i do in fact agree with horus that it is huge mistake to think that the way you see the world and the way world 'is' are the same. The so-called pretension to 'true objectivity'.
