And for the record I have nothing against the night as such, I'm sure its great weekly and the music is good and the people are cool. However it is clearly not a "breaks" night and I think you guys are being dishonest to the people and the music trying to promote it as such. Je recois regularierement les playlists de Broken en email, Si tu penses me convaincre que Yelle et MSTRKRFT c'est du break, j'achetes pas Je comprends que cette musique est populaire est que ca attire du monde (quand MSTRKRFT est venu jouer a Voyeur la premiere fois avec moi et Jordan on a eu presque 2,000 personnes) mais j'appellerais pas ca du break. Sinon je ne vois aucunement la diversite dont on est sense m'eduquer dessus. Toute le monde sait anyway que Broken ca a toujours ete un crew "nu skool" break, donc representative d'un seul sous-genre de break. Je trouve ca drole qu'ils sont ouverts d'esprit tout d'un coup apres m'avoir faites chier pendant des annees parce je jouais une diversite de breaks. May anyway si tu me dis que c'est 5 heures de breaks, je te crois parce que je te fais confiance, et donc je n'ai pas d'autre choix que de supporter cette soiree Big up! |

And the ego comment has nothing to do with agreeing or dissagreeing with the broken crew, they're something you threw into the mix because you still seem to have some issue with (surprise surprise) them claiming that they play breaks when they so OBVIOUSLY don't play "real" breaks like *you* and *gasp!* play stuff that ISN'T BREAKS! OMG they totally shouldn't call themselves BROKEN crew, they should call themselves MUSIC crew, because they have a little diversity in their selection and play FUN music that people enjoy dancing to! And for the record, calling you a Negative Nancy isn't an insult, it's more of a statement of fact; you have NEVER posted ANYTHING, EVER, AT ALL positive in ANY thread about breaks, be it musical discussions or event discussions, unless it was a thread for a night you were throwing/playing at.
