Honestly, the best would be to find him a nice home with a big backyard... I can't bear the idea of locking up my dogs in a small apartment all day, especially with summer coming up, I'm used to seeing them run around the backyard or chilling on the patio in the sun all day. Same thing goes for my other cat, I've always left her here because she has the opportunity to be in a calm environment and chill all day outside without having me worried.
