wait, visual handicap? So is he blind, near-blind or just butt-ugly? 'cause if being butt-ugly is a handicap I suspect that 90% of the population suffers greatly.

He has a handicap that keeps him from getting a job but allows him to spend his welfare on x360, chat all day, listen to music, write to people online.

Notice the subtle difference: He can't seemingly get a typing job somewhere because of his handicap but he can type all day here, play x360 games, etc. Oh, and be a total bitch to everyone by blaming whatever he has at the moment as reason for his total shit attitude.

I'd love a handicap like this.

Oh, and he's a filthy liar, too. Whenever he bitches someone and gets bitched back, he complains that it's unfair to attack someone with his kind of problems but when you mention his problems, he says he has none.

He's a welfare leech.
I'm feeling backsosoreus right now..

Ok so that would explain why he mentioned his handicap out of absolutely nowhere. What if I told him that every time he replies to me, I get really depressive because I'm bi-polar, will I win the argument you think ?

But hey, can anyone name me a job that doesn't require you to have 20/20 vision ? Let me start : sanitary technician.

Anybody else ?

hehehe ok, but if it's to much criticism that keeps him from finding a job, he should not receive money from the government

"douchebagerie" is not an handicap :P

That's my main thing here : I've seen quadraplegic people holding 9 to 5 jobs and then, on the flipside, you have perfectly (or close to) healthy people on welfare doing shit-all and getting paid.

What's wrong with this picture, you think ?

I totaly agree with you...

I'm all for welfare in some cases, when there is a REAL reason for it and when it's use for clothing, food and a roof over your head. not for luxury.

But what are you going to do... there will always be people less couragous who like to play the "victim" card everytime they get. And there will always be abuse to the system.

I don't mind when it's a TEMPORARY thing. You know like a mother of 1 or 2 that gets divorced and he leaves with everything, she needs time to get back on her feet, people who suffer a loss and need some time off, people that are part of massive layoffs I also understand. Even new immigrants I understand, you don't have a permit, you come here and you know don't know jack about how it's done here, you feel lost and you need to gradually get adapted. It should be for these reasons, NOT making it a full fledged lifestyle.

Not when you were born here, speak the language, can get around enough, are somewhat fit, young, relatively healthy and somewhat smart. You have no excuse to get off your ass and get a job, ANY JOB. You'd be surprized to see how well people who clean toilets are paid ( and how many welfare recipients are not even willing to get the least bit dirty ).

Most immigrants who do exactly that are paid twice that of people on welfare. And they're immigrants !
