You are looking for a drummer, pianist, guitarist and bassist!? That is simply NOT going to fall into your lap, although I wish for you that it does. But no, that's not going to happen, you need to do two things. -Record an acapella(voice only) and have it easily available. If your voice doesn't sound good enough alone, it'll never sound good. Don't get me wrong, practice is fine but if you want to take on the industry, you have to have really amazing natural talent, superb vocal range and a great band. -If you want to compete, you need to find an experienced band with truly excellent musicians and a bad singer. Demo yourself to them and get them to kick out their singer. Otherwise the process will take waaay longer than you can ever hope for If you are serious about this, then you should not be posting this here. [ Rave.ca ] is not a good place to find a band, let alone a good band. The only thing you'll find on [ rave.ca ] are electronic artists, but 'we' (electronic artists) can do the whole deal, drums, guitar, bass and piano all within the same software and make it sound perfect. But then you didn't even mention what style you sing, you say it's new, but what is it comparable to? Your post is the equivalent of going on [ monster.ca ] and saying "I want a job with computers, because I am awesome with computers and if you want to be a great computer company, call me." It just sounds totally amateurish, you need an agent :P I hope you didn't take this as an insult, I really am interested in helping but you seriously need to revise your plan of action here. PM me if some of what I wrote made sense to you and you want to discuss it more. |

| Coolness: 100510 | completly understand what you mean!! i know this might not be the best place to look for a band... but we never who play instrument ... i am trying to find a song that is good enough to show everybody what im capable of doing. i know that we do all of this with a computer ...but thats the thing... if we can do techno with the sounds of real instrument on the computer... we can do it live ... so my plan is to make d&b-eurodance kind of music... pretty hard to explain... but thats why i want people who will be really into doing something different!
imagine... ur in a rave... and bamm!! theres a band playing what u usually listen to ... could be freaking awesome!! im recording myself... and its coming up! sorry if i didnt explain my self clearly |

 Coolness: 152980 | the thing is, playing *techno* on drum is really boring for a drummer, even hard, because its hard to keep the same beat at the exact same tempo for 6 minutes, but dnb is fun since its not kick snare kick snare with hi hats in the middle
but if you sing, you should upload an aapella, and every producer here could remix you and do something nice, in our diferent style! that would be nice |
