Interstellar vibes (except for those bratty thugs trying blowing shit up in the beginning - they'll get a painful dose of PLUR next time :P) but seriously, tons of fun, smiles, interesting memories and sick sound. Great sets from everyone in both rooms from what I was hearing. NIce to see lots of old faces coming back together as well as all the new ones. Huge thanks to everyone involved in putting this together, and coming out to support the scene - y'all made it happen! Massive biggup to Sacha for bringing us all together and for the massive promo and organization on the party details. And of course Super Huge RESPECT to Marc for being the backbone of the Twisted Bass Krew and for forgoing days without sleep to make sure that the party was the best it could be.  Coolness: 73170 | I was really fucking tired when I showed up, so I probably wasn't in the best party mood when I got there.
The downstiars room was pretty pimp though, good sound + good vibe. Met some people I haven't seen in a while and people I've never seen before, was very nice. Only thing I find the party lacked was deco and lighting, but hey I'll take sound over that any day. Twas definetly a great party for 10$ Upstairs was chill too, only thing I found though was that the sound system was missing a lil bass. ALright though, still got into the music at some points. Twisted Bass Definately got it pumping downstairs, mad respect to marc and the crew, you guys were fucking tight, keep it up. |

My videos are not uploadable, ''Something wrong ?'' hahaahahahahahahah yeah hum ? the visual we're a bit mashy. Ive talk to the artist directly to cut the [ rave.ca ] drama hahaha they have understood my point. . . But to the [ rave.ca ] scenery I could still critict something hahaha you know to break some balls. Having 1 Vj for a whole night is serious damage brain for the artist. I mean, have 12 hours of quality imagery is quite a fuckin huge challenge. My point is, there's a lack of a VJ line-up.. I mean, its so easy to create a team work, a like of a duo, each dj should work as their own rythm, building a similaire, a Beaudelaire, a spawning queen! Do you understand ? Do I hurt someone feeling saying that ? LOL The one who prepare a party should put up a Vj line up that is fallow by an equipement that is standard ( like fuckin laptop, you know, do everydj bring their platine-turn table for the unknown scavengers? begginers(like me) and other vj should bring their own visual prepared footage cds and played em'/mix em' on the sharable CPU that are place into the vjing both with the mixer, the projector and all other vj gear: muppet, tank gasket, wide angle cinemascope, Robin Hood, Cendrillon, etc ). Also, Vjin is quite easy as long as you have organisation and creativity. I mean, I'm preparing myself my own Visuals while I will be mixing. People got a preview of it at Bass to bass; quite simple, just stop motion, being arranged a l'arrache with movie maker; LOLAGE en sacrament !!! hahaahhha I loved Galakproutte réaction of it !! hahahaha :) thanks Seb ! My point is, all artist knows artist, it's knows that qui s'assemble se ressemble. Or, Djs in mtl should try to hook up with visual makers, sharing ideas of what they like, helping on the footage, etc, its a fuckin team work. On the other hand, there's a lack of Vjs, so here my suggestion; DJ while you do nothing behind decks, bring cd of your what so ever visual ! You know, you could prepare a video made out of fish! What so ever you feel that fit with your beat..just that could help big time the rushed VJ situation. HEy aikido, yeah you are so right man ! I say all this to get attention! You're right...What you said here are some of the reasons why I'm never satisfied with my work... But all this comes from ONE major problem...Only a few gigs I did were safe for my equipment....ANd since it is not safe...We "vj's" have nothing else to do beside staying near our stuff....So we end up having nothing else to do beside visuals.... Since the unfortunate event of my stolen camera...I'm really paranoiak with this stuff....I only leave my vj boot for 2 minutes to go in the bathroom and I feel unsecure for my equipment... Even if the vj boot is in the VIP area...Like for Bass to Bass...I don't feel safe....A lot because VIP are open to a lot of people. I think that those area should only be for the artists when their is no other safe place... Even with the barrier that we have put to make the access restricted this weekend....People were goiing in and out like they wanted... This should not appens...Accident could have appens many time!!! I don't want you Marc to feel bad about it....It is not your fault...It is always like that...We have to find solutions for this thats all! And to a creator like me there's NO limit (and actually we are buildin some casier, compartment, rack).. I would be so down to build a big protective case to hold valuable gear ! I work for free on such mission. Metal doesnt cost much you know. Satin coil (who doesnt rust) 0.036 millieme (enough trust me) worth 36$ a 96''x 48'', so building such a rack would need 3 maximum sheet (bah depend on the size of the compartment).. So this is a offer to fraktal owner; if you pay the material, I build the shit right away ! but vj and dj do not have banlense since vj coming out :) there no dj bring their amper to the party , and vj should bring all their equitment even projector to the place . but 10+ hours party onlyh one vj , oeee. ... the point is maybe vj can care about 4 or 5 djs , but can not care about all the night , and during the morning , what we are mixing ? i do live painting , fault doing ipod image , somebody just playing a dvd and sleep . that's cool if vj work as a group , AMERICA and england allready do this ,but not much in montreal .AND we only have projector and screen for vjs , no more lcd walls . in china, there many place have 360 degree screen and major lcd screen like 200m* 5m . did undergroup should more profession ? does the people do not care the music and visual what we did ? the answer is not . as vj group , when i playing in mixsession , we do meeting 2 month before the next show , and it is more than time. and we changing idea over than 20 emails . the vjs and djs know every part of the party and vjs know what dj want . every party have a different subject , different dj and different people , do we vjing the same theme or same image as the audio ? i do not think so , but , but but , sorry for that , we only can mixing what we are think and what we want , coz not that much djs coming out and tell us what they want . that is hard to have a communication between people , dj and vjs . it always like dj playing what they already set-up's song , vj hear the music and doing visual , people listen the music and see the image than dancing . . . but does people know can chose the visual as the audio . you can go to ask your favural sounds , and you can also ask to have some image . coz people doing different drugs and have different feeling , if you are in the down-time and i playing a lot of flash on the screen what will you do ? close your eyes do not see the screen ? that's will sad part for all vjs ... |

dnb+tek krews seem to melange really well, nice one. satisfaction level at ease! sorry about sound problems in the nTk room.... a fellow dj left with his equipement at around 6am, we replaced the equipement & had problems with feedback... which meant i was not quite havin it! although the problem was solved and i then had en mass 2 fun! loved zone-33 sets, matante mutante surprised me with some fine speedcore, kasdale mixed some mad dnb in a unique way(i know his tricks now mwehehehehe attention!) bravo moebius-pas trops fonsdé!) big props to TEKnikoloR for his live sets... live sets that make anyone groove!) visu wankerz petra-ugo yo=0_0 ////now louiskend...you make me laugh soooo much.... you are delirious, and gave me a massive bruise on my nose! next time... bim! a la prochaine teuf!) |

J'suis pas trop du genre à me plaindre sur le net alors c'est bien que la réalité du vj ai été expliquée avec tout le cru qu'on te connait! Marylin, t'as bien raison de dire que la perte d'un simple article peut être complètement néfaste pour la carrière d'un vj... j'fais juste penser à me faire voler mon laptop et j'pense tout de suite au meurtre... En fait comme Sakara dit c'est pas l'article en tant que tel, mais bien ce qu'il représente, les heures de travail et tout le contenu qui nous est tellement personnel... L'idée du line up de vj est la prochaine étape à franchir dans les raves. Content que t'en parle McKo! Déjà Lézarium accorde une très grande importance aux visuels et aux vjs.
