i was there at every deftones show i think ( till 1st time i saw them in vans warped tour). The best show i saw them was at metropolis i think! that was fucking crazy ( far away in my mind but i think it was with pitchshifter).During 7 words someone became crazy and dive from the second floor! At verdun i was so mad because during the :*SHUT up you don't know meeeeeeeeeeeee.QUARE LIKE A PIG WHEN YOU!* and just cut the best moment to sing a weezer song, and then came back after a while with the real song.Hehahehhae maybe they remind how sick we are in montreal from that time they played at metropolis BUmp
I'm feeling monday right now..

I've been to every Deftones Show in Montreal...my favorite one was this one....

when Stephen was doing his solo for Say it aint so, he fucked up so badly! Me, Stabba and Seb Fullum all looked at each other like "What the FUck??" lol

Chino was like "STOP! PLEASE! I'll GIVE YOU ALL MY WEED!"

Ahh the good old days...

I LIKE THIS THREAD!

ok thats a little funny music bio from my...let's say 4yo to 14 yo... enjoy..if you can.( for sure there's no way i can mention all the music i enjoyed in my life!...)

first memory of me dancing or listening a vynil with my dad is that. i have to admit that i tought he was sexy.. ewwwwww

first vynil i got from my dad when i was 5 yo : un trou dans les nuages / michel rivard... it's sound so 80' quebecer! but i still like some of the lyrics...

after that i got my phase "black music" because in my familly it was kind of encourage to listen black music so i got that for sure when i was about 6-7:

well when my dad actually realise what it was about in the songs and that i was singning that on the street at other kids he decide to stop buy me this kind of stuff!
me and my bf were trying to dance like them, we were so retarded..were making dance contest in my backyard! well on this choregraphie i still got a 10!

so after that in 4 grade i really discover the beatles. i think it was great and i still like some of their album...

for sure i listen that along with rolling stone...led zeppelin...yadayada...ect

after that for like 2 minute i tought that was an awesome song, but finaly think it was a shitty song for hiv cokehead...that's why i called this moment in my life as a determinate point... who know where i would be if i continued to listen shitty music on the fm??? ---->

but then in 5 grade i fall kind of in love with j-f...

after that i started my teen crysis, anything was making sens, either my music taste...i was in a black depression hole..i was listening nirvana 24h/7..so much that i cannot listening that anymore.. stone temple pilots too... jesus and mary chains either...and well! all the fucking seatle grunge scene! i was even wearing brown t-short.. [ www. ]

by chance my wish to have a older sister become true when my parents divorced...she had all this old underground punk album...early techno stuff... one day i was listening genius, the other the pixies and sometimes the sugarcubes!

also my first show without my parents was the cranberry when i was 12. i can't even understand what the hell i was doing there..she's pretty annoying.

the summer of my 13 yo gonna be print forever in my mind... me and my bf went to the first vans warped tour at the hypodrome blue bonets.. nofx and penywise..
i didn't know what was a mushpit and got hurt really bad...but when i come back home, my mouth in blood, all dusty... i looked my mom and says:"i love punk show."
well she was kind of happy because she saw something feminist(?) in that..

few months after, in secondery 2 i went to my first ilegal rave and my world changed forever i supose when i really got to discover mix and techno...and blablablabla...
and then i said to my mom :"i love raves and i want pink hair." and she roll her eyes. she didn't see anything positive really that time.

voila!

This is also realy important for your man's understanding of you. If it ever goes sour, he just needs to put on a paded shoulder jacket, get puffy hair and do a couple running mans and it's a fresh start.
I'm feeling cracktastic right now..

Dirty Dancing's soundtrack !!
damn i'm so moved, i'm listening to it right now !

:)

remembers me of this insanely intense and greatly awesome midnight bike ride in vancouver last august... going through hastings street with all the crackheads on the sidewalk hallucinating, falling, or shouting, with that guy in the middle of those 70 bikes crossing the city... that guy had a boomboxed taped on the back of his bike, playing a old hits cassette really loud... aaaaaaaah going so fast with TIME OF MY LIFE screaming out of that boombox, high on shrooms and tripping out, really thinking i was having the time of my life...

aaaaaaah feels so good just remembering it :)
I'm feeling phd powa !!! right now..
