I hear starlight has some kind of radioactive ray in it that causes skin cancer too. I don't go out at night anymore. So that's water, air, sun rays and starlight I cannot be in contact with. |

 Coolness: 106100 | Pesticides can be definatly dangerous especialy if they are not used the right way.
I man i work with killed the trees and died of cancer, weeks after applying undiluted pesticides to an apple orchard. Was a simple mistake with fatal concequences. I have personaly applyed pesticides to control a pest situation, the substance was highly toxic to humans. Any good "how to grow weed" book will tell you to wash your plants before trimming, especialy if you use pesticides. The thing is no industriel weed opp. will take the time and effort to do so cus we all know that time is money. As long as people dont start keeling over, its business as usual. |

| Coolness: 81675 | Jack is one of my favorite strains but its not always available and expensive when it is. The primary reason why is because most growers choose other strains due to its long flowering time (75-90 days) compared to most other straings which flower in 45-60 days...which obviously lowers how many cycles you could yield per year consequently lowering wholesale profits significantly. |

 Coolness: 145185 | the easiest way to see how good pot is is the oldest, smell it if it smells sort of rank sour and skunky it's good...if it doesn't smell strong at all it's probobly not very good at all, I remember i used to get this weed sometimes in montreal that looked really good (crystals, hair, nice color) but it was always bad. Another good way to tell is taste, should be kinda acidy...anyway just my thoughts |

 Coolness: 62730 | my experience is that you can't just say "weed in montreal" I know at least 10 growers with different strains, quality and potency. Its not the place you buy it but who grew it and how. I have only had good quality wonderful bud in Montreal. You can't just make a blanket statement like that. Know ur stuff, know your drugs and know your grower. Thats what it comes down to. |

| Coolness: 81675 | The taste and smell have absolutely nothing to do with cannabinoid potency. They're both directly attributed to the drying process (often referd to as "Curing") of the buds. Most people quick-dry their shit for 4-6 days so they can sell it off asap but in order to get the best tasting / smelling buds you're supposed to quick dry for a day or two then slowly "sweat" the buds using air-tight jars with paper towels, replacing the paper towels daily once or twice as they slowly absorb the water content. About 80-90% of the water and plant sugars remain in the stems so eventhough buds may apprear dry after a day or 2, bagging them up right away will normally lead to them getting moldy cause the excess water remaining in the stems exits into the buds and remoistens the buds.
Acidpat: Thank you for clarifying the innacuracy of generalizing a statement like "weed in montreal". As you implied, the strains are quite arbitrary once you take into account the care of the grower and the environmental conditions used to produce the final product. |

that's pretty scary though shaeake me... i mean, what if your dealer sold some of that pot to a kid who doesn't know any better? i've definitely bought weed before that had crystals on it but i mean, don't people spray windex on their buds to make them weigh more and to create that crystal effect? i think the only way for weed to be controlled in society for that very reason is for the all the stoners who want to smoke pot to just grow their own. wouldn't that be fabulous?! and then we could all have a contest to see who can grow the best shit! haha p.s. the best pot that i have ever had, which i tried for the first time recently is PURPLE HAZZZZE, i seriously got flashbacks i swear. i smoke serious amounts of weed and cigarettes and i've thought about if i get cancer, and i've come to the conclusion that i've accepted it because i find the pros outweigh the cons... from the moment you are born you are dying so why not enjoy the beauty of life rather than preoccupied with trying to lenghten your life? peace out! |
