( I need to apologize to Goalien before I begin )

Murdock Rock confirmed my suspicions about the level of knowledge Rogers reps have.

I'm concerned about a few things though. When a customer service center SUDDENLY opens up 50+ positions, it's either 1. they are expanding, which I guess is good, or 2. a shitload of people got laid off.

Why would I think that ? Oh I dunno, maybe because I used to work for a company that was bought out by Rogers to which, all of the sudden, me and a shitload of people with a lot of seniority ( you know, the ones who've been there long enough to actually understand what the products are and how they work ) got, wouldn't you know, laid off...I'm guessing because we tend to get most answers RIGHT but we are paid more and have a nasty tendency of questioning quite questionable executive decisions that make no f**king sense whatsoever but as a newbie, you don't know enough about the company to be really affected by that...or are just plained brainwashed into submission.

My previous employerwasn't directly Rogers so don't assume they behave the same way with actual employees there but my experience there left an astonishingly bitter taste in my mouth : waste 4 years of your life slaving as a customer service rep, suffer through numerous unorganized projects that fail miserably and get fired for doing things everyone, including coaches, have been doing for years there and tell me how 50+ jobs gloriously become available and had absolutely nothing to do with that.

All I have to add is apply to Rogers, really. Truly. Steer clear of another wireless company called F!d0. Yeah sure, it's all fine and dandy now but just wait a few years down the line and see how they give back all the extra hours, sweat and blood you've poured for them.

Hm. For the record, I'm now a CSR at Videotron. Easiest CSR job ever. No stress, no fuss. I'm happy now.

Aaaaah. Well that feels good. About time I do like customer service clients and vent a bit too. Hey, it's a 2 way street so endure you wusses.
I'm feeling hot right now..

i know some people already got hired, but i want to know how many, because it looks like they didn't expectr to pay one person like 2-3 thousand dollars, so i want to get my facts straight before i go to hr.
