That`s sad shit right there... maybe he believed in Communism so much that he refused to participate in the democratic process?

communism and democracy don't exclude each other !
well, since no genuine communism nor genuine democracy have ever been used so far, we haven't been fortunate enough to witness that, yet.

man i wish i could go to this, i feel like flying home just to come to Steve's party...

The only problem that i have with Marx's philosophy is that it seems to exclude the possibility of freewill and more generaly freedom, but i guess that is just the price you have to pay for rigid physical determinism...

on the otherhand one of the things that i love about Marxism is that finally with Marx you have a materialism that is divorced from Mechanism ( a la Descartes or Hobbes) and you arrive at a very interesting place where your materialism becomes organic, (ie society is more like a living creature like a cell rather than a machine like a clock) The other thing that is interesting about Marx's philosophy is he wholy and completely rejects political fictions like the idea of the "original position" and the "social contract" put forward by anglo-american social and political theorists from Locke all the way through to Rawls, Society did not emerge out of nowhere, it was developmental evolving, over time, any assertion to the contrary is pure folly and must be seen as such...

3 eyed bearded women.. It`s a little known fact that Karl Marx had a third eye in the back of his head and was not a man at all but a bearded woman. Also, paradoxically, Steve travelled back in time to have sex with Karl Marx so that Karl Marx could give birth to Steve`s own father who would later (obviously) spawn Steve. So Steve Lalla is Steve Lalla`s own grandfather and a direct descendant of Karl Marx.. YES! God... see what happens when I stop paying attention to what I write?

Sebastian Prelar
Born in Montreal, former member of The 909 Soldiers with DJ Kal who runned a few years ago one of the first Montreal based techno labels, In-Filtration Records, Sebastian has been fascinated and obsessed by electronic music since the end of the 80's / early 90's. He really and more seriously got involved in composing and creating in 1996. Being active on the Montreal techno scene for years, he acquired experience by giving quite a few live shows downtown and around the city. He then got signed and finally released his first tracks on Disktrick and In-Filtration Records in 1999. Prelar's style is mostly groovy bangin' & jackin' techno with a Chicago flavor, armed with pounding heavy beats and raw vocals. In 2003 he joined the Djax-Up-Beats team and released his first EP on the label, also remixed DJ Rush a few times and then got signed on the german techno label Highball Music. Continuing to expand the jackin' techno sound, he lately got signed on DJ Bam Bam's Chicago based label, Bass Heavy Music.
