in fact i think everything about this movie or the french new wave is totaly cool!
its one of my favorite movie but i always watch it in french....when i watch it the first time ,i pass the next 2 weeks smoking like belmondo!!
this is funny because during the night ,i was like...lazlo kovac....i know this name....

sure,u can find a american remake of this movie but its terrible!
actually,in my cinema class,the teacher showed us the difference between a classic chef-doeuvre and a navet americain!lol!

ps. richard gere has a gerbil in his butt during most of the american version.

i was sure to dont watch movie during my travel but yesterday i was in zurich and the hotel have a good collection... and i saw cube in german!
its not bother me to much because i saw this canadian movie a bunch of time....
i think its a realy good one...
they made it realy good with a litle budget!
it was fun to see it in german because i always thingking that the subject was famillar with german cinema(oppression,the system control u...ect...)
its can be a good play too...

Onibaba je l'ai vu ici. Il est dans la collection Criterion sur DVD.

J'ai vu Hiroshima mon amour... disons que ça m'a tout de suite embêté qu'il n'y ait que deux répliques en Japonais de tout le film! L'histoire était pas mal, mais le style était incroyablement lourd. Ça aurait fait un bon court métrage, comme prévu à l'origine.

Je me suis récemment (re-)tapé plein de Tsukamoto Shinya: Tetsuo, Tokyo Fist, Bullet Ballet. Je comprends parfaitement ceux qui le comparent à Cronenberg.

Si vous en trouvez, regardez tous les films de Sabu, c'est un autre bonhomme assez original. Unlucky Monkey et Monday sont particulièrement intéressants - il passe de la névrose la plus noire au loufoque assez habilement, et ça marche.

woow,je vais essayer de trouver ca au magasin...c vrai que renais etait doue pr le court.....nuit et brouillard est fabuleux et choquant!!!

il y a quelques semaines nous avons recu le collection box :angels gust....5 films japonais...
c vraiment ds le genre sexuel tordu....ha!c japonais!lol!

a lot of people said to me than the sequel sucks!!!

i will judge that when i will see it!

the same director made an other movie....i forget the title now....its people who wake up in a white empty place....

Don't know abou sad movies...but as far as depressing goes...number one downer for me is probably Pink Flyd's the Wall, which ironically is almost tied for most tripped out flic, alongside Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas...though weirder movies do exist...
