even in so-called 'french boulangeries' i've not found anything looking like a baguette yet... and even if i could afford a round trip to france, it wouldn't be any good because you have to eat baguette when it's fresh... at least, the day it's been baked.
and for the cheese, there are a lot of french ones here... but yeah, at least 3 or 4 times more expensive !!! and it's forbidden to import cheese in canada (same for meat and dairies). yeah i know that's not a good reason (especially that i actually brought some hand-picked shrooms with me :p) |
