for me, it's an issue of how little the institution of marriage means to me. I don't think that I would like to capitalize off someone for wanting to live in this country, especially, if where they live is impoverished and marriage would appear to be the only way out of that impoverishment.
However, I could find ways to spend the money -- and I always think building relationships with people is a good thing atleast in theory, if not practice.

Marriage is a way for people to get into our country who are otherwise unauthorized.
Marriage is a way to capitalize off people who could not otherwise get into the country fast enough.
Marriage is an institution that imitates a natural principle of the universe-- that of attraction. (yin/yang) (pos./neg.)

the bitch in pat's statement adds to the effect. It gives me an impression of the persona he is assuming.

...when you put it that way though any power-hungry individual would lust/feed of the opportunity.

degrating women is old-fasioned-- get with the times, grandma

I'm not in the kitchen baking a cake because you're still at work, honey darling. lol

Degrading anyone is old-fashioned. It's just not everyone has realized it yet.

It's alright, it's not his fault. Like I said, he's a rebel without a clue. He finds something that he has no idea about and automatically hates it because it seems to be the cool thing to do.

no no, it's the "right" thing to do, cause if there's a lot of people doing something, it's GOT to be bad.

cops are bad cause all they wanna do is ruin our fun!

It's easy to take people out of context. It's easy to make assumptions. It's easy to say I know what that is and to label something. It's easy to be misunderstood, even if you are einstein.

You're taking my comment personnally as far as I can tell. My comment was actually inspired by what screwhead said to basdini --nothing to do with you.

AS for einstein, he is considered by many to be a genius, I could see how my comment could go over someone's head.

So was it easy?

I'd only do it if I could marry more than one. Then I'd be getting rich while having a whole crew of immigrant sex slaves in the kitchen cooking some foreign delicacies...yummm
