No doubt it was disrespectful, im fully aware of it and like I said only later did I really fully understand how stupid it was, and there is no way I was outside without a coat for 45min. that’s a mad over exaggeration.
And you didn't say you would use force if you had to. You straight up said imah fuckin hurt you if you don’t leave... wtv the case, its done and over... I came up and stated what I felt and told you all im sorry, and I even left the party after Noah said I could stay just so we can walk separate ways, but honestly put yourself in my shoes and say you did something really stupid, I don’t think it'd be much appreciated if I stood beside the fuckin bouncer and threatened you, would you? What if mike had been with me and you had said that, you think mike would have stood there and took that garbage from you? I don’t like fighting, ill avoid it as much as possible... but honestly guy, you want me to be more mature you oughtah grow up yourself and use different means of getting your point across aerial raver : im sorry for being a drunken retarded. next time you see me you can bust out the fire extingusher and douse me in the face. deal? |

and i didn't leave the first time i went outside, i only went out there to talk to mike... i thought that was a little obvious since i said " ill be back im going to talk to him" and then ran outside without my coat on. |

you did stay outside for a long time. If you want to discuss this more just msn me since I dont think we should involve anyone else in this conversation. |

They didnt shut it down.. they just told us to turn the music OFF. Not lower the volume to an "agreeable level" .. OFF COMPLETELY.
Sure enoughg tho.. twenty minutes later we turned it back on a low volume and then slowly over the final two hours the volume got raised a bit a a time until Noah agreed to allow the final three songs to go at full volume once again! Thanks Noah. |

actually the did tell us to turn off the music and leave right away. But we told em we had to wait till 5h30 until we kick people out because the metros werent open yet. after a bit of yelling that stupid dyke agreed to wait before kicking people out, and then she parked right in front of the venue for 15 minutes and left.
we then proceeded to put people in the windows to check for them coming back and then jacked the volume up. A true renegade legion party. |

A really awesome party. I had a wicked time. It sucked that the cops came, but that incident, made the vibe trully great at the end, when the volume was back up.
I had a wicked time shouting silly stuff on the mic at the end. (That was me, I know I suck, I apologise ;)) Peeps where dancing and having fun even though the tables kept jumping all the time, so I said, what the hell? Let's have fun. Oh, and happy birthday Noah, you've thrown one hell of a party! |

Thanks for everyone who showed up, it was an awesome bday party and an awesome rave party. Sorry for the people who thought the band was not in place but we like to do things differently and there will be more different things happening in the future which some people will like and some people won't. It's hard to please everyone that is for sure but the music was rockin' all night and the people were all super happy. As far as I could tell there wasn't a person not having fun (maybe some tired people but thats ok). In the end the party lost 450$. This isn't a lot considering how much fun everyone including myself had and be looking out for other parties in the near future with freebies such as water and balloons and other stuff! Thanks for the presents, by far the best was sylvie's which was a little doll of a [ rave.ca ] dude, I will have photos of everything soon!
If in the future other people want to do a party and want to see a typical budget I'll post this one. 750 - location 50 - tipsy t 50 - millepattes 200 - the trigger effect 100 - corey k 100 - virus 100 - gobstobber 100 - end 100 - hotel 25 - decorations 50 - alcohol 40 - matduke 100 - lights 35 - 200 water bottles 30 - 150 tickets 20 - 1000 black and white flyers 100 - security ---------------- 1950 Remember that is was a special night and people played for cheaper then they regularly do and the location was cheaper then it normally is to rent. Thanks for all the dj's and band members for taking part and making this one of the best parties and most probably my best bday party ever! |

wow. you're the only promoter i've ever known who would have the balls to post his budget. good for you. |
Good [+1]Toggle ReplyLink» El_Presidente replied on Tue Feb 22, 2005 @ 3:34am |
please note that this was a preferential price for renegade legion. I am a "pute de luxe". And the 35$ was for 300 water bottles, not 200. Those ravers drank that shit like if it was free Henessy in the bronx. |

Wow, great party. I want to thank Noah for having me down to jam it in an old school 'ardcore way, it's been a while man! Thanks for the great timeslot, the "dj" booze was also much appreciated, and overall just keeping things on lock. I met alot of nice people including the owner of the venue (which is normally a record store), as well as the guy from Psyconaut. I thought the band was great, and while a little out of place, thye still fucking rocked. I definetly had a wicked time during my set, although my headphones were a little fubar, i managed. Thanks to Gobstopper for the intro/outro, respect to you and the t.dot crew. Special thanks to Miller who I hadn't seen in AGES, nice conversation about anything and everything man. So yeah, basically, a fantastic night, which ended with fantastic Sausage McMuffins.
Peace, Corey |
