 Coolness: 145320 | see it's complicated, most people just wanna forget that it ever existed at all as an actual ideal in the minds of people and just as a moto/battle cry for the rave scene...
there are interesting parallels between the state of mind of late 1960's hippies and late 1990's raver. Peace love unity and respect are all slogans and motto that circulate through social movement of the last 100 to 150 years. Alot of people just wanna forget about this shit like they wanna forget about fun fur and glow sticks (maybe not such a bad idea for those two) but you just can't change the fact that "PLUR" appears on the back of so many flyers, you have to remember that the people who put it on those flyers back in the day and even today really do believe in this stuff. ask yourself, is plur such a bad thing if you really do mean it? |
