:lol how the fuck did someone die off LSD? Mentaly, having their mind permanently turned to mush, maybe.. Doing something stupid and getting yourself killed, sure. But ODing on LSD is only gonna destroy the mind, not to mention how much it would cost to get enough LSD to kill someone physically.

"I must emphasize that there is no danger of death or injury from overdose of LSD, which must have about the highest therapeutic index of any drug known (the ratio of fatal dose to effective dose is unknown since no human being has ever died from an overdose of LSD, but must be very high, as individuals have mistakenly ingested hundreds of doses at a sitting; this is a way of saying that the drug is not at all toxic)."

On the Orlando Sentinel site, there was only one article that came up in regards to the search term LSD that refered to a death, and that was a dramamine death in december 2000.

So, either someone lied to you, or you are making this up, because I can't find any reference to ANY LSD related deaths, let alone something as specific as narowing it down to the state and/or the newspaper that the article was published in.

Yeah, considering that Orlando is in the almighty US of A, where they believe that marijuana is physicaly adictive and fatal, obviously your going to hear that LSD killed someone. The fact of it remains that to overdose on LSD he would have had to have a good few hundred thousand dollars worth of it in his system before it stopped his resperatory system.

heart attack from not being able to handle what he saw and freaked, fell off a cliff, wandered into trafic, thought he could fly and jumped off a building, yes, but OVERDOSE on LSD, no.

I don't doubt that someone died under the influence of LSD, but get your facts straight: LSD DOES NOT KILL.

you just proved my point...thanks...had a heart attack due to lsd...if you have a heart attack because you did too much coke, you blame the heart and not the drug????

Technically, a heart attack from LSD is more a psychological reaction than a physical symptom of overdose. And, if at 21 years old, an acid trip caused you to have a heart attack and die, then I'm sorry to say but your heart is already very weak and would inevitebly give out much sooner than a person without a heart in such a weakened state.

Either way, at least get your terminology correct. If you had said in the first place that he got a heart attack from doing LSD, instead of stating that he "overdosed on LSD", you would have looked/sounded much less stupid.

...and bears.
Kitten and bears
sitting in a tree
doing too much LSD
not because they're married
not because they're free
but just because they think
they have found the key.

People need to understnad the difference between cause and effect! Life depends on it.
If I kick you in the head, did I cause you to bleed?

how can u say that, i dont think that your in the position to make such a claim. Did u know this guy, did u know of his medical history and such. Some peeps have anxiety and other problems that Might cause a reaction to a certin something, anyways i wont even try eplain what MIGHT of happened because i dont know this person, but i dont think that your a doctor of any sorts so therefore your theory means nothing.

Who knows what really happened?? But I wouldn't think that someone would make up a story about a friends death, unless the person seriously lacks attention.

:)

it happened often in the past ...
someone mad high on acid jumping off a cliff or something, thinking he could actually physically fly ...
or depressive badtrips ending up way sadly ..

that can happen , because the imprint of the buzz's pretty strong, it deconstructs your fixed reality for a while ..some cant take it ...

technically, physically, it cant do no harm really, but psychologically ...

well if someone is having a panic or anxiety attack on their trip it can possibly lead to a heart attack.

some people, very healthy, kids, teen and older, have died before of heart attack just because of fear, or shock, without drugs. Some deaths are just unexplicable by doctors. I have once read ( but i have no proof on the web to prove it right now) that one day, a 8 years old kid received a baseball ball in his sotmach and just die right there, instead of just getting hurt. Those shit happens, not often, but you nevr when or who it will hit.
