 Coolness: 159265 | I went to Celebration 2005 and they were playing dance music like that of MC Mario. And, they confiscated my glowsticks bc they wanted you to buy them for $5 a piece.. and they were selling cigarettes on the dancefloor which is just cheesy.
Lady, I dunno what 514 party you went to 3 years ago but it was the EXACT same thing in 2001. Back then, they still confiscated glowsticks and water bottles so they can sell them 5 times the price inside. Don't deny it. Maybe you expected them to change but see it through their eyes : " we increase prices and MORE people come. Hmmm. DUH. Let's keep this way. " But I'm floored to hear they now sell cigarettes on the dancefloor. Wow. Talk about totally disregarding your clientele's health. You'd think they'd gotten a tad more responsable on that issue over the years but no, f**k it. It smells, promotes an ever increasing health problem as more kids smoke now than ever and, really, who gives a sh!t about non smokers ? Damn foo', it SELLS. They might as well sell crack on the dancefloor while we're at it. So let's see : cigs, alcool ( b4 3 ), f**ked up people, promotion of the female gender, pick up lines by shirtless men, etc. Aside from drugs, it's like Crescent street but bigger. Personally, no thank you. I go to raves to defeat the purpose of the above. When it veers into that AGAIN, I pass. Buuuuuuuuut, that's just me. |
