thats what i switched to months ago....
seems to do the trick....but sounds like FIREFOX is better...

you can uninstall IE, but it might fuck some things up if you do..

and as for firefox conquering by this summer.. that's near impossible.

there are FAR too many users who think the web IS the internet and think Internet Explorer is the only web browser in existance. Not to mention the massive use of IE within applications.. it'll take more than 2 years before you see firefox get anywhere past 40%.
