| actually, on a more serious note, i just finished doing alot of research on judaism and hasidism and found it very fascinating and interesting(course i was taking on Religion and knowledge).
but i figured as much if were gonna start listing them off, jews always comes after blacks, but i mean, everyone knows this. |

| thanks ;)... i know we would have more users if i made people sign up... but the fact that you can do everything without signing up that's a good number... i like the idea of a bar night, and maybe starting next year i will think of something up... once a month or so... should be fun even if not many people show up it will be a reason to drink and i been doing a lot more of that lately... |

I think mandatory sign-up is a good idea but not for all areas of the site. Like right now you got people needing to sign up to POST theads, events etc. Any viewing is free for all. You could limit non-signed-on viewing to messageboard general section, music, reviews and maybe silly games, but the nightlife events and get togethers should be user-only. Maybe on calendar people could view the general listings and when they click to view event details it would tell them to go sign up for that.
It would also make it safer for events in terms of cops, now that [ rave.ca ] is getting very popular... now they can see everything but if they have to sign up, at least its more effort.
