300+ images on display till November 25th.

Vernissage Friday November 19th - 6pm till midnight. Pics by Lucas J. Schumacher.

NEST - 3673 St-Dominique

I you feel like helping to spread the word., forward this email invitation to your friends.

You are all cordially invited to come to this very special evening...

This will be my first show since I began shooting images in nineteen ninety-seven. Seven years of imagery spanning from the depths of my past and the friends of yesterday to the streets of the Plateau and the icons who have inhabited their sidewalks during the evolution of the scene. With my camera often by my side I've roamed many days and nights through events & happenings witnessing and capturing some really wonderful moments amongst thousands of snapshots that I have gathered over the years.

The meaning behind the title of my show 'Writing with Light' lies within the true meaning of the word Photography, the process of recording images by exposure to light. The title also holds true to the process in which I've written a visual diary of our past that can further be reflected upon as one would do with a written diary.

- - -

Please take a moment and forward this email to anyone and everyone you know as I would love for everyone to have a chance to come to this exclusive engagement. You should not be surprised to see how many familiar faces are to be found within the images I've taken and even to find yourself up on the wall. I would appreciate and be thankful for any help I can get to spread the word.

I would also like to take this chance to thank all of my beautiful friends who have been so kind and photogenic to let me take there photos and those who have been so kind to offer their support to help me put this show together.

Nest - I Love Neon - Moog Audio - Plateau - Betty Blush - 2Naw-t - Nomadic - Want Agency - Moment Factory - Acne Jeans - Mad Vision - Goodfoot - Space FB - Evening - Chromeo - Modjo - DNA boutique - U & I - [ Ab-Baby.net ] - [ NoOneDesign.net ] - Inobe Prod. - Mom - Dad - Sister - Dog - And all my other beautiful friends who are way to many to mention..

Kindest regards,
Lucas J. S.

...ahem, the plateau is overated if you don't live there...the plateau is fun yet borring and sometimes very annoying if you do live there, the important thing to remember folks is that the plateau is just a really fun bubble, it isn't real...'course I'm personally much happier living in the bubble then in other parts of montreal that are part of the vortex, thats just me though...

Ufot-not hating the bubble cause it was all about the bubble love

riiiiiiiiiight, and im guessing you read this in the "Scotty's daily dissolusioned wacko world where everythings cracked but him!" newspaper??The homeless people are left alone here btw, they sleep in the bank entrances and and i've seen public security drive by and do nothing, they go through our garbage and recycling and nothing, oh and they sleep on our lawns!! and as far as im concerned nothings ever happend unless some crazy american was living here and forgot you dont have the right to do whatever you want if someones on your property. Oh but I forgot, in scotts perfect world he would never call security if he were to find a homeless person sleepingon his lawn, your neck of the woods is only full of child molesters and crack head mothers who leave their babies to die in parks.
Remind me when this became a discussion about Westmount, oh and why?
Was it because Westmount has its name plastered on over priced plain t-shirts?
