 Coolness: 91785 | So let's say that Kerry wins. He'll start to pull troops out of Iraq, leaving behind a weak government in control of a fraction of the county, a la Afghanistan. Then, let's say another big attack happens on U.S. soil. Since Bush set the standard of invading two countries per major attack, Kerry will be under a ton of pressure to at least invade ONE country. I mean, from the American point of view, you gotta do SOMEthing, no matter how badly it will turn out. So, Kerry will have to choose one country to invade. Here's my guess which one:
-Not N.Korea, cause they got an army that will actually be tough to beat. Plus, can't go attacking Asians when its Arabs that attack u, because the people you kill have to at least LOOK like the terrorists -not Saudia Arabia, as long as they keep selling oil its not worth the risk -not Pakistan, cuz they got nuclear weapons So I'm guessing it will either be Iran or Syria. Both would be easy to beat, both are opposed to Israel so there will be that lobby urging an attack, and both look sufficiently scary to the average American that they won't hesitate to start bombing. And then the republicans will win in 2008, just because. |

 Coolness: 55385 | I don't think Iran would be a pushover. As far as Islamic arab nations go, it's quite disciplined and capable. THere's speculation that the American destabilization tactics are to weaken the surrounding countries so that an attack on Iran would be more successful.
The whole world is watching. The whole world wants the same thing: Not Bush. If the US invades Canada, China would have something to say. They rather like us as we're helping them in many ways: Their new models for civic government are based on Mississaugua and Vancouver (also a city where the street signs are in English and Chinese). We've helped them to industrialize with our CANDU reactors. It would be similar to Germany invading France next door, and then the US coming in to save the day in WW2. Plus, seriously, who invades CANADA?!?! That's like taking a big Sunday morning dump in the Karma pool. So if you're facing some invading Americans, smile, invite them in for tea or a cold beer. Be friendly. They're just joe soldier serving a tour wherever Uncle Sam sends them. They don't want to be put in the situ they're in. Of course, when they're sucking back the last of their nice cold one, stick a fork in their carotid artery and take their uniform. We look exactly like them. The Chinese are on their way. |

I love how in Canada gets to have all the shit the US has, but without all the international hatred. Sure large faceless American corporations get all the money, but it's getting harder and harder for their employees to keep their heads physically attached to their bodies in some parts of the world. Soon they'll start to think with those heads and realize that money isn't worth dying for, especially when the buck stops at their asshole boss' desk, or his golfing buddies' Bush and Cheney. |
