 Coolness: 60950 | On friday i went to blue dogs and had lots of fun. The vibe was excellent! so i decided to goto idj for another night of good music and warm vibes. I got there at 3 and stayed for about an hour. I tried to dance but i just couldn't get into the dj's set. Saw all the familiar faces and spoke to a couple of people. the location was awsome, the studio was orgasmic. it seemed like idj put alot of work into this party, i hope they got the figures that they needed. |

The location was primo! But the party should have been called "IDJ Summer still air" cuz their certainly wasn't any breeze unless you were withing 3 meters of one of the AC units... The back room with the studio was really awsome but too smoky for me to be able to dance in. Props to the Dj's and the Vj... Great stuff... |

Jada opened the perfect way ; not 2 hard and putting in different music (80's cheeseball classics and stuff) wicked everytime Axionfigga pulled out a sweet liquid funk set ; on point as usual played BILL RILEY'S -closing in- , man thats a classic choon i havent heard in ages ; word up Dj Rue played a kick-ass set ; wicked selection + top notch mixes, everyone was impressed Camille rawks my sawks Mr.Brown came in with a dope set as usual ; what a rockin dj ; played energetic stuff ; lots of new releases, some ragga, quick mixes to keep the dancefloor bashing ; huge props @ James t'was his 2nd idj visit, and no worries not the last one .. Krusada played a deep-solid hour of delicious beats ; this guy's a very merry talented dj, and especially PRODUCER ; a idj classic guest already also, he'll be back around quite often also, for your listening pleasure Nitrous played a hard-jump up set ; tight and right rockin like usual we had technical problems that night ; sound we rented was fucked up, most speakers were un-usable ...shit happens .... a needle fucked also ....shit happens .. and everytime the dancers were groovin big-time it would make the turntables skip .. happened at least 10 times during my set ,which fucks up all the construction's plans ... oh well ..shit happens ... otherwise everything went well 2nd room was the hotbox ; packed and sweaty ... music was dope in there 2 .. nice hiphop by PYTHAGORE .. wicked hardcore madness by KATALEPTIC awesome amen mashup bizniss by the BLAKEMARKET one .. kick-ass raggalicious moments with TNT JUNGLIST and the illest dancehall-reggae with DUNCAN from UK |

anyways, I am really glad to have been able to come out and drop dubs from a few of our finest local ragga producers |

Then when returning they actually wanted those horrible slipmates back and wanted to charge us for it. They also said we needed this machine to hook 4 turntables up. Cost like 60$ to rent but you can hook 4 turntables up just using 2 mixers... Whats over is over so whatever but I saw the moog banner so I figure it was them... |

too bad the sound was so messedup during my mix i wasnt sure what was coming out, felt like echoes,but whatever lotsa happy sexy people (bigup nova scotia ;) with room to move, kinda hot, but well its summer right (at least we had some A/C not only fans) niceup to krusada, mr james brown, rue, blackmarket, kataleptic,etc...guest djs took care of business to the max! cant wait to have em back soon at one pt the 2nd room was kicking the 1st rooms ass (blackmarket!!!)... i ll post some photos soon check [ www.indajungle.com ] & pls come to Juice this thursday+ peace b (why are my posts coming out thumbs down? itsallthumbsupyo) |
