That parizeau quote was totally out of context and yes I'm ethnik but I couldn't care less.. I lived in Quebec more than 1/2 of my life now so I consider myself more quebecois now. They aren't stuck up and narrow minded as you may think.
and neoform.. haven't you learn anything from history: BORDERS NEVER STAY THE SAME. Just check how hectic it was in Europe for the last 100 years. And last time I checked, Quebec didn't even sign the last canadian constitution. |

i'm voting conservative. we need a fiscally responsible government. and plus i actually saw the candidate for my riding walking the streets and talking to young people. i can't say the same about any of the other parties except for maybe Green since i think i heard something about one being at Homeworld. |

the funny thing about the candidates walking around and meeting people is that it's all to get votes. What they believe and stand for is what really matters. Politicians know that they need to get out and 'be cool' since the younger voters are an untapped source and the voters of the future.
I haven't met any Green candidates but i like what they stand for. |

"I strongly enocurage all of you lazy asses that are planning to vote for the Green Party to read their platform for this election. This is not the green's of the past, they are essentialy conservatives marching under a green banner (they plan to privatise healthcare and education) - they're taking flack from the international green parties for not following the traditional green agenda. The traditional far left Greens are campaigning as a centre right party this election." |

Check out both websites, see what rings true to you and what sounds hollow. |

from what i've read, they view privatization differently.
Green party's ways of tackling issues just make more sense to me. |

Their new program is much less progressive than it used to be. But, it's still a left-wing party. I think they just figured that it's impossible to be in power without a minimum of help from the big spenders. |

vote conservative. i think its the only thing sarah and i agree on... oh that and she has killer tits.
The only thing i'm sketched about with the conservative party is the dropping of the kyoto protocol... but they do want to radify a more realistic air preservation law with industrial companies... still sketches me out. Though out of all the parties... the law and order platform has caught my attention. Fuck the whinny legalize marijuana...what do you care, you bastards smoke it anyways. And even if it does become legalized you are just going to bitch about how the government is hording the money for illicted purposes. To all those who say the conservatives are against pro choices, that is not the case. They simply want the lady to get third party counseling. Which i think is realistic. Ever go to the clsc and see an alone terrified 14 year old... i think she needs a lil support, than just a tube shoved up her throwing salt water in her hole. |

"adhérer sans réserve au principe d’universalité du système de santé, lequel doit être administré et financé par le secteur public; "
[ www.greenparty.ca ] Couldn't find it in english. Anyway, it seems like they aren't interested by privatization...but this IS a political party so... |
