yeah I think is the best a lot different variable can play with the sound, for creation I prefer, to play like ScottyP with minimum fx , because change melody,depend so much what you want at the end. I don't think is good or bad way for creation. My room is large but need to be better in monotoring, I think almost the time I loose my time because need to improve some aspect. Too create is okay but when enter in the phase of sound improvement,polish, is really a scrapt. A lot of your informations will help me for sure. The best is too have lot of fun and acquire experience. Ive got no time this weekend, to check for a book, but i will do soon.. I think all this different variable will help me a lot.

ooooh cool thank super choqué ! yeah i'm newbies on this skill try to learn because is so much fun
and when u doing by your own, you can have a real personnal finish, more then if friend do it.
I will try to find books during the weekend about this subject. I'm sure theory and practice will be a good evolution for me.
for sure, this help me a lot, often lol I work on one song 6hour, and after when I test in club or anywhere, I am so disapointed to
see that i'm not good at all lol.

well is simple, ive got 1 wav track with all sequence of kick
another example 'hats' another one specific synth, another voice.
You can call it mixing for sure. I not change order of sequence just polish sound quality of each track for a final touch.
when everything is complete, now time for mastering in studio. this could give me sometimes around 8 to 15 different layers.
I test some them in good sound system and the rendering of some layer is not the perfection. maybe with experience and my hears I will find the best way to give a real good sound power to each layers. For sure, some layer Is adjusting, like if I found the bass to high or create noize, I change the volume. Some layers are recorded from external source other with software like cubase, reason, depend what kind of sound I need.

If you know some good website,tools,hardware,software, for pre-mastering.

When I finish a song, I seperate each layer one by one

Drum, synth,bass, snare etc...

After I polish and have fun with program like acid or cool edit to improve the sound quality.

For sure is impossible to optain the sames quality of a real studio. But I want to know if you know good website, you explain, the best way to pre-masterize each layer.

I begin to be crazy, with other cd (angel of disorder) the person who mastered my music, say to me the best way is to record on cd and listen in different source, like car, pc, good sound system, cheap one, club, etc. A good pre-mastering, is you are able to obtain a good rendering in different source. Is a good tips for sure, but damn I can't count how many cd I use just for one song. even i'm not very happy about the power of kick and snare and voice often not really clear.
