This week on The Flip Side ( [ live.techno.fm ] )5pm every friday (eastern standard time) ..for the first part of the show, were going to be hearing some upcoming releases from critically acclaimed Brasilian psytrance artist Cosmonet. With a few tracks released, and quite a few coming out on various compilations in the near future.
He is planning his first full length album release sometime around September 2006.

Cosmonet Project was born in the beginning of 2004, with the goal to bring innovations to the current scene of psytrance in Brazil.Bringing you heavy basslines, speedy and involving grooves, their music has being influenced by Talamasca, Logic bomb , Eskimo, Gms and Cpu , Killer Buds . .

When in 16, he had his first contact with trance, experiencing hard trance and goa style. After hearing lots of psytrance he felt a lot attracted to the music, and decided do be more than a listener, becoming a producer. In 2002, he started to interact as dj too, having great success presenting himself in parties all over Brazil. After learning more about the public taste, , and started the Cosmonet Project. Since that, Leo has been studding, and always trying to achieve better.
He has played alongside names such as Raja Ram , Chicago , Wrecked Machines,Silicon Sound , Fatali,Tikal , Killer Buds, Audio X , Vibra between others...

Good Morning!! Today(friday) at 5 pm (eastern standard time) on techno.fm's live channel: [ live.techno.fm ] with be the first "Flip Side" a fresh new radio show I'll be hosting every week.
On the show we'll be taking a look at upcoming releases by various artists in the psytrance community mixed in with some current favorites. In the future, I'll be hosting interviews and talking to alot of the artists live on air, we'll have guest djs and hopefully some live sets thrown in from time to time for good measure...
On todays show were going to get a sneak peak at PsyTropics Records upcoming release Psynina and friends due mid next year aswell as a bunch of material from their recently released Supra Sphere compilation.

Nina K, aka Psynina,is a newcomer to the psytrance scene coming from Germany and representing the other "Yang" of our human exsistence - the balance between man and woman. She is the real evidence for a new generation of female PsyArtists who have all the believe and the strength in their music and imaginations. Her track's characteristics are a sensitive intro with flashy ingredients, an enormous baseline and well set leads and fxs.

hey, I'm going to be conducting a series of phone interviews in the upcoming weeks for a radio show and was wondering if anyone knows what would be the best way I can record it directly into my computer to limit loss of quality... [ ie..us ] telephone(does this exist?) What do they usually use at radio shows to accomplish this? ..thanks for your help -Kalan

Things Ive noticed in the past while are everyone I seem to meet are either promoters/upcoming promoters, dj's/has been/learning to mix, producers/makes some form of techno oriented music. Its nice to see so many people involved but I havnt met a simple "partygoer" in ages. (I wonder if they still exist) Not that this is a bad thing, although unfortunately, one-up conversation subjects are somewhat limited. Is this just me?
