| Description: | Well, another year has pretty much come and gone... and with the new year just around the corner I think it's time to share with you a little something I've been planning for a while now.... a little something that I think you will all enjoy. A lot. So, without further a due, I bring you the next evolution in partying... DFF: Deep Frequency Fusion!!! That's right... DFF will be undergoing some MAJOR changes for the new year... New broader scope of sounds, new resident DJs, and best of all A NEW PLACE TO CALL HOME!!!! First off, let me mention that it's been an absolute pleasure working with Rick (aka Supaman) over the past year and a half. However, things change and Rick feels that it's time for him to focus more on his music and his productions, and will be stepping down from promoting DFF. I just want to extend a HUGE thank you to him, without his help I don't know if Deep Frequency would have ever lasted this long. Rick will be staying on as a resident DJ, so don't you worry, you will still get to hear his incredible Hardstyle sets at DFF in the months to come!! One of our long standing resident DJs, Wraith, will be stepping up to act as my right hand man on this project... I'm really happy to have him on board to help out, and I'm sure his knowledge and experience will go along way in helping the event grow and become even better!! I also want to introduce you to 3 new "Fusion" residents, who should help bring new sounds and new faces to the event... and they are as follows: Tails (Our first female DFF resident!) Kay (aka Tails) has been perfecting her craft for years now, you might remember her awesome Trance sets at Here We Go, Mad Hatters Ball, and the Backstage NYE party!!! Tails has promised to crank it up a notch, and will be showing us all her harder side in the year to come!! KrazyKhalid Khalid is Ottawa's best kept secret. This guy is a fucking prodigy!! With his first Hardstyle release on Great Britain Hardstyle at the age of 17!!!! Super dedicated and always on the hunt for cutting edge sounds, expect nothing but the best from this new comer!! Mike Toshiro We all know and love Mike, from his involvement with Elevation, to his crazy hilarious antics at just about every party he attends.. I am so Happy to have him on board!! With a MASSIVE track selection, and impeccable skills, Mike will be providing us with a more trancier sound at DFF... It'll still be hard, but a little more approachable for you new comers!! Expect Tech Trance, Hard Trance.. and pounding big room sounds. DON'T MISS OUR LAUNCH PARTY FOR THE WORLD!!! Our new home is The Cock & Lion on Sparks St. (202 Sparks)!!!!! I just secured the 1st Saturday of every month... that's right... it's on a Saturday now!! No more feeling tired from a day of work, sleep in, get up, relax... and then come spend your Saturday night with us!!! Some benefits of the new Venue: 1. Better location - 5 min walk to the 95 Route, Downtown, 24 Hour McDonalds around the corner, walking distance from the market, and Brixtons is right next door!! Need a break from the music for a bit!? Well you just have to go next door, have a drink, and then head back over to DFF!! Amazing!! 2. More Cozy - Enjoy a warm relaxed pub environment with ample seating and dim lights!! No more feeling like you are in a "Legion Hall" as someone said. 3. Better Vibe/Crowd - a slight reduction in capacity, and a nice ample dance floor will help create an amazing vibe that will keep you coming back month after month!! We should also see more pals stopping by due to it's proximity to other stuff!! 4. Patio in the summer!! - Enjoy a Smoke with your drink in hand as we head into the summer months on the Sparks St. outdoor patio!! Now, here is some info about the Launch party, more info to come!!
