| Extras: | Jesse Morris was born and raised in Montreal. In past years here, he was a big supporter in the local party scene. This inspired him to begin playing records around the summer of 1991. With his selective tastes and his keen ear for tunes, he took his talents to Vancouver B.C. and soon solidified his place as a local favorite in the West Coast House/Techno community. A DJ in western Canada and the U.S. for 8 years under the name "D.J.Shine", he has made appearances at many festivals along the west coast. One in particular Known as "Soundwave" [ www.groovey.com ] a 3-day techno/house festival set along side the beaches of the pacific ocean and has been taking place for 9 years. Soundwave has seen the likes of Mathew Johnson, Matthew Herbert, Akufen, and many others who Jesse has had the pleasure to play shoulder to shoulder with. Wanting his hometown to share his west coast experiences, he has moved back to Montreal and is once again involved in the local music scene . Jesse has recently teamed up with local mojo magic man D.J.Poontz and have formed a group called "Le Boucher" [ www.myspace.com ] 6$ avant minuit 8$ après. spécial sur les drinks avant minuit : 4 $ (vodka, Rhum, Gin ) Academy 4445 Boul.
