With Special guests... Ariel & Roel (One Degree - Edmonton) Ariel and Roel are truly a product of their musical influences. They started out listening to ambient and IDM in the early '90s, religiously tuning into an Edmonton local Radio show TXRX. They eventually found themselves headlining chill out rooms at early warehouse parties. Both being classically trained in piano, they had an affinity to textured melodies and beautiful soundscapes. They tried their hand at progressive house and soon became local favorites as residents at Therapy Afterhours . Their musical transformations accelerated during their era at Therapy and Lush nightclubs playing music ranging from Progressive to Tribal. At their current residency at Savoy, their musical style has again evolved to a more sophisticated deep tech house sound. No strangers to Ottawa, Ariel and Roel are pleased to bring you a little taste of Edmonton.
