| Informations: | Saturday July 15th Helsinki & Onaversal invite you to Premier v2 Featuring all local djs... Alec Todd (93.1 CKCU FM Radio / [ EDMM.ca ] VS. Chris G (Toes in the Sand Recordings / Emersia) Alec has been DJ'ing since 2002 when he first started his radio show on CKCU FM radio. Focusing on trance for the first two years of his DJ career Alec has now matured into the house music scene, playing anything from hard house to techno. Stemming from his love for disco his favorite type of music is funky filtered house. Alec has had the opportunity to play in several clubs as well as many radio shows. Alec was selected in 2003 as Guy Ornadels top talent for Ministry of Sound competition and had his mix played live on Ministry of Sound radio. Chris started spinning music in late 2002 with Alec on his weekly radio show. For the next two years, his musical taste had evolved into the love of progressive house music. Having recently been signed Toes on the Sand Recordings, his remix has been getting much attention from big name DJ’s such as; DJ Tarkan, Hernan Cattaneo, Jon Sinclair, and Ariel Cybana. Chris has many future projects that are pending release for various labels. You can expect to hear a blend of deep, progressive house meshed with funkier house elements from these two upcoming DJ’s. Regardless of your taste in music, you won’t want to leave the dance floor. Dr Phil (Traffik Afterhours) vs. Paulo Cardoso (Onaversal / BOMBA / Helsinki) Dr Phil is the Traffik resident.. nuff said! Expect some serious fukin beats! Paulo is the Helsinki resident. Expect some twisted FUNK! What will happen when these 2 worlds collide!?
