Goods[/b] -Beats from - Giveaways from [b]Six Degrees Records[/b] - In house Beats by [b]Emily Jones[/b] and [b]Lance Baptiste[/b] -Live Art by - [b]Liza Veta Petrova[/b] -With a Performance by - [b]the Jezebels[/b] ************************************************** *************************************** [b]The Beneficiary:[/b] In the month of August [i]World Beats and Eats[/i] has decided to give to Ladyfest Ottawa, a grassroots-organized festival showcasing the talents of women in the arts. Their festival is held in mid-September and is expected to be a extravaganza of wondrous experiences steeped in lady-ness. [b]The Eats:[/b] -Absinthe cafe (65 Holland Ave. - 613-761-1138) - provides global fusion savories for us to sample -Horn of Africa (364 Rideau St. - 613-789-0025) - provides us tastes of Ethiopian cuisine -B. Goods (b.goods@sympatico.ca) - provides eats of the savory nature from that far away Land of Vegan [b]The Beats:[/b] Always free CD's to giveaway from Six Degrees Records and always swanky in house beats. 7-10pm beats w/ Emily Jones [ ] E18hteen, Social) 10pm-???? beats w/ Lance Baptiste [b]Special Performance:[/b] The Jezebels will be exercising their right to "punk-up" aerobics and they will be expecting audience participation.... so wear comfy shoes.
