Like so many of the great soul singers; Wilson Pickett, Aretha Franklin and of course James himself, Sharon began singing in church at a young age. Her talent has taken her beyond Sunday choir to center stage; bringin all the funk with soul friends the Dap-Kings. Under the direction of bassist Bosco Mann, Sharon Jones and The Dap-Kings put together their soul-funk revue awing audiences around the globe. Their version of Janet Jackson's "What Have You Done For Me Lately?" is so raw fans thought and swore it was the original. "Naturally" is the SJDK's recent work behind wich they are touring.
