THE BEAT - GRAND OPENING - FRI, MAY 6th Carrying on in the tradition of Thrust Fridays is Ottawa's newest club night dedicated to house music: The BEAT at Rouge nightclub (formerly the Umbrella Room). Beatmarket promotions will endeavor to become the place for house music on Fridays showcasing the best Ottawa talent and providing an opportunity for new & upcoming DJs. Rouge (formerly Umbrella Room) has been renovated into an amazing space with an intimate club vibe in addition to a greatly upgraded sound system. The lineup for our Grand Opening will showcase our three residents and a special guest: LINEUP: ----------- 10:00-11:00 Roy Chartier (Onaversal, Beatmarket) 11:00-12:00 J.Bradley (UFM, Beatmarket) 12:00-01:00 Mikey Siorek (Surface, Lush) ...and our special guest, one of the legends of our local scene and one of the most versatile DJs in the city has agreed to honor us with a headlining set. 01:00-close JOE JUAREZ (Surface, Velvet) Drink specials: (some of the best in the city) --------------- $2.75 domestic beer & select bar rail drinks before midnight. $3 before midnite / $5 after, 19+ (ID required) From 10pm to 2:30am, COME EARLY and show your support for all the DJs and enjoy what is sure to be a messy night!
