damn, this is sad, very bad. The toping is straight to the point :its turnind into a very nasty world.

when a man steps out of his place in cote des neiges, gets shot to death, thats peace?

when a woman drives out of her underground parking lot in st laurent and gets shot at for no reason, thats peace?

man, so much shit goes on every day in montreal.

yeah nothing is perfect anywhere....isn't that what she just wrote? but we don't have mass mudering...I live in Parc-X, I know first hand that there is no complete peace or "Utopia" in this city but we are way better off here than a lot of other places...a lot

Montreal has a big Jewish population and an even bigger Moslem population, it's not surprising that some of the conflict has entered this city where there are people from both sides. Concordia riot anyone?

I think burning down an elementary school library is a stupid and cowardly thing to do but I am not surprised something like this happened.

israel has been in conflict for over 3000years.

and since we live in a world of weapons and anger it is "normal" that homicides occur. montreal is calm and wealthy. there are gangs, bikers that have nothing to do with me, or ethnies joining (which are mostly high school kids that wear bandanas and walk like rockingchairs). yeah, people get shot in montreal. people get shot everywhere.
don't forget newspapers like to spread fear.

sensasionalism won't keep me from walking home alone at night.

in the world of my dreams the rest of the world could burn to the ground and leave montreal and i would be happy, but i know its not like that, things outside of this beautiful and special place do effect us and violence and hate can spread here and that just disturbs me.
