Some1 knows when she'll release her new album , the lake album ? I think she performed 2 songs from this coming album in her show this summer (The fucking great track with eskimos sucking dicks in the visuals, I can't find in on any of her album.) And some has bought her new Bjork Box that costs 100$ but that has on it all the seperate parts of her songs ? (Lyrics, strings and beats ... woah , remixing bjork sure sould be fun !!!!) |

I would love to see her make her own music and not rely on the talents of matmos, herbert, mark bell and howie b... she cant you know why??? shes talentless...
shes an ideas person... thats what she is.. if you check out all of her liner notes on all her records shes not wirtten the music it self shes the ideas person... matmos, mark bell, howie b, herbert all have written the music on her records... same with her videos its not her handy work shes an IDEAS person like modonna is not a whole lot of difference there only thing is bjork is more edgie an artist.... honestly I think she has talent but only in the ideas making things happen deptarment shes not responcable for the final result other then direction its easy to coem up with ideas and direct folks to do stuff... as for her voice personally I dont see any thing all that interesting in her raspy vocals I used to love bjork untill I ended up meeting matmos in person and got the real poo on her... after that bit of info was onveied to me I lost compleat respect for her and her work .... :) admittedly she does have some cute catchy pop tunes... but I just dont want to give her credit for them ever since I heard what really goes on... its easy to sit besides a musician and tell them what you want to hear its another thing to do the actual work your self oh and shes the worst actor on earth! |

| Coolness: 66625 | when she was doing quiet songs, I dunno about you but people responded and kept their mouths shut. Infact, it was nice having wide open ambient music play on loud speakers.
As for Bjork not writing the material, then uhm, I dunno wtf you're talking about, or what liners you've read buddy. Bjork writes all her own material that her band helps perform. Yes, Howie B helped on drums, yes Matmos helped on synths, and yes, the icelandic quintet helped on orchestra related matters. What, you're going to say now that Juno Reactor has no talent because it was africans who did all the drumming, or they had other guitarists, or whatever? What, an architect has no talent because he can't put together a house? Hell, might as well discard 99.9% of all bands in existence today based on your stupid comment. Bjork's group is collectively what Bjork is. Their music is Bjork's music, not their own. They are merely playing. |

So, to complete her ideas, she gets people to help her out, like Matmos, like Howie B, like harp players, like orchestras, ect. Thats whole idea behind Matmos being there in the first place. Their talent is being used by Bjork so Bjork can complete her vision of music. What do you think Mozart did dumbass? |

Bjork composes all the musical parts of her songs, and that's something a lot of ppl just can't do. And wow, she accepts that her musicians can compose some parts of her songs too, that's a good thing and it adds to her music. And if I remember well , Homogenic was written, composed and produced by Bjork alone ... that's what's said on her website anyway ... OMGSTFUDIEPLZKTX's right. My god , Bjork haters are as predictable as Bjork's lovers are. *l* |
