spooky or whatever - you can't say indie all sing about the same thing and are talentless - really. there were once bands like sonic youth and pavement ...gah why am i even saying this?
here's a question though - whos more talentless: rock musicians or electronic producers / djs?
right off, rock has the added challenge of having words (generalizing) ....but there's tons of useless fucks in both genres....discuss |

| In both, there's either the people with no tallent, and the people with tallent. Rock musicians can go the way of simplicity and being "generic" and not standing out, just like electronic producers can use factory presets for everything and make un-inspired, bland, generic music, just as some musicians are incredibly tallented (Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Les Claypool) and can pull things out of their instruments that no other human can do, and the electronic producers who go out and make their own samples, drums, etc., use all sorts of synths and weird techniques, whatever is out of the ordinary to achieve a sound that's diffrent from everything else out there. |
