ya k, i dunno if you woulda liked my set anyhoo, largely booty dj assault, dj godfather and dj deeon tracks mixed with hard ass dj rush and some old school acid and shit all at about 150 BPM. was mad fun for me.

konflikt, naw, anyone, my comment here on this section

-this techno section is brand new. i dont need a new section that i have to go look in.
-i dont listen to much music online, sorry y'all but i just dont have time for that. i appreciate it nevertheless, and will check it out once in a while for that, but i literally have gigs of music and stacks of CDs that i've never listened to, let alone all these vinyls that I feel I shoudl know inside out, but dont
-so if you guys dont see me here dont get offended.

big up/

I have all of assault's straight up detroit shit cds. that would have been a good set.. plus you played some rush tracks - even better.
I'm sick of booty though. like the same 6 dance mania records everyone plays.. boring.
I'd like to hear more detroit ghetto tech - disco d, dj dijital, dj godfather too. dj funk is so 2000.

I brought dijital to toronto back in 99 but it was for an electro party I did ....
it was a nice small party in a 200 person max wearhouse space in the gay village.... but honestly I would never through another party with all electro all night it gets fucking boring...same with any artists that sound to similar...

DJ Assault owns it... I got the chance to hang out with him in St. Louis about a year ago. I played a gig with Casey Hogan, Tony Rohr and Gene LaFosse. DJ Assault had played for the same promoters the night before... and he showed up at the afterparty and played in front of about 25 people in the basement of this house. It was awesome. I was standing halfway up the stairs, less than 10ft from the the tables.

Mad skills and one of the nicest, calmest people I've met in a lot of years of travelling around.

It was solid techno. I wasn't sure what to expect from him because everything I've heard was working from a different angle (ie: his rather varied work in Program 2 with Victor Calderone, stuff he did as The Genie on IST).
