OMG!

I've seen some pretty discusting shit in this thread. I need to make a personal point here.

Dancers in Montreal don't do it out of showmanship. It's all about tripping with friends.

DnB: yes parties are smaller, yet less shallow.
Aria Dancers: you prolly came for Terry Francis or something. It comes and goes.

Ravers aren'T the ultimate shit here in Mtl either. Sorry. There's a whole world that some of them are just to close self indulged to understand.

Sorry if I pissed some ppl off. it's just the way it is.

See you on the dancefloor
Simon

I think those of you who know Dave Toth (aka Dusk) will all agree that he's definetly amazing at popping, locking and liquiding. He doesn't party too much anymore.

Spyder, what music genres are you into? I'm a Montrealer but I pretty much only party in Toronto.

I'm heading down to Tdot at the end of the once to check out Dillinja, Lemon D, Hive, Photek and Teebee and Kool Haus.

Spyder dude
if you're into popping, locking and tutting, one of my buddy rents out studio space just to practice by himself and a few buddies

i've seen alot of really tight top-rockers... they just don't gotto raves here

so whenever you're in town just holla at me with a message

somekid is right
females own the dancefloor here in montreal; as i've mentioned before, it's always a humbling jawdropping experience watching

Lakester,
i'm down with breaks, funk, house, dark hard dnb, little bit of techno.

dillinja is coming to Toronto?
shit i better look that up...nice.

what parties do you go to here in TO?

Soyfunk,
that sounds TIGHT. i'll mos def hit you up a message if i'm comin in to town. If you've ever heard of the Fantastic Poppers...i session with them once a month in a studio with a full wall mirror :D

i just took up lockin a couple months ago and i'm lovin it.

in general i'm just interested in seeing what the whole scene is like in Montreal...not just the dancing.

yeah, Dillinja's coming again. i saw him when he was there in April. it's at kool haus on the 28th.

i go to the bigger jungle/dnb parties in tdot.

i was down last november for empire's 4th year anniversary (qbert, mampi swift, etc) but i missed the show (it was the first snow storm of the winter in tdot and the shuttle buses got fucked).
i went down in february to see zinc, in april to see dillinja and in august to check out the I Kamanchi tour (Die, Krust, Adam F, etc) but that was cancelled cause of the blackout.

hopefully all will go well for this show.

Psyks: you got room for an extra head in that car? Stabba's on the move to.

True dat. There's plenty of poppers.
dedicated ones too.

Shit you guys remember Under Pressure?
breakin in the rain on fucking asphalt.
True warriors at work.

i always wanted to learn how to pop and lock and stuff... but i'm a montrealer and suck at dancing.

some of my friends breakdance though... see soyfunk's post

i'm so jealous and yeah they don't go to raves much... they're not the show off types

ps. you should make a diff between breakdancing and just regular dancing and tripping for fun

if you book more than a week in advance, it's pretty cheap. to go by coach, it's about $150 for a two way ticket.

my girlfriend just got her car this summer, so if we drive, it'll be our first big road trip.

if we take the car, we save like $250, so we're tempted to do that and then get a reallllly sweet hotel room.
