Seriously, I was so used to Gameloft asking us to work hard, with no rewards, that my mood's shifted and I gradually became a bitter old man. So much so that even after moving to Ubisoft, I kept the attitude. I recently came to the realization that most of what I felt towards my job (and, spilling, towards my friends) was influenced by this. Add to that the stress and family issues, I wasn't right in the head for a while :P I've done some bad things. All I had to do was to force myself to stop being so negatively influenced by the problems I face. I've started facing those problems with hope (cheesy but still true... hope isn't something I'm used to) and there we go. I ended up doing a great job on my project, my boss is happy with my performance and he has big plans for me. Finally, a job that rewards good work with opportunities! So I've started applying this new attitude to my family as well. Same results. So I started making ammends for the bad things I've done. Same results. It's silly how just a different perspective can change so much. I'm glad for the wake up call I've had a couple months ago. We're never too old to change!
