 Coolness: 31215 | I used IE8 to download Opera. Now I only use IE for logging on [ rave.ca ] because it doesn't work on the latest Opera version for some reason... (it says login successful but I am not logged in!). Oh and also on Voilà because the file uploader for my website doesn't load correctly either.
I prefer not trying IE9 until I'm sure it won't be as buggy as IE7. I'd suggest them to add Opera's Paste and Go option. |

| Coolness: 131620 | i know i always sounds like i rant , but im shure you can agree their revisions of all the menus isnt all that much . and even in the opera case , downright ugly . the default at least i havent look into all thoses banner stuff im not into.
at leat they where the ones bright enough to include a torrent mechanism even it aint much it save my ass a few time stuck in low tech county. |

| Coolness: 131620 | for 4 days + and just had my computer taking forever to just move focus of a selection
tied a few things first and fell into a smoke screen : spybot return a tracer cookie as soon as i reboot after visiting either encyclopedia drammatica or 4chan. but that report doesnt always show up . and sometime the whole vaccination had to be redone... anyways i look around , nothing seemed to resolved right away . rebooted yesterday after a clean temp, defrag , spybot update+vaccine+scan , chkdsk. even changed the god damn power cords and data strips inside , cleaned all contacts etc.. no plugin-container.exe or plugtemp . java and flash are even gone (while its still half install as i can play vid from flewtube. talk about a good uninstalled provided by the corp). the computer ran A1 offline. ran all night , woke up today and got that damn stalling again. spybot doesnt report squat but his is what i found (system log and taskman) some weird svchost.exe weighting +20 mb was hoggin the whole thing , wasnt even in the process list yesterday . my cowboy self killed it , and guess what . computer is back as it was . system info shows nothing but some overflow error on the tcp stack. ddos guise. and winblows will always suck at it. if i didnt have to support people with winblows , i would have goone long ago to a complete openbsd system or inferno. event if they arent foolproof , they are still way more secure remotely than how anywinblows that can morph faster than their polymorphic mechanism. |
