Better venues than Passport and Koï can definitely help too...

Well said. some is more juicy electro tip,, other nights will b more heavy bass / dopestep ..
jus b picky ;) U might even find genuine DUBSTEP nights still alive.

I'd say it's not a matter of ''2 much dubstep'' or not, i listen, DJ or make Dubstep 7 days a week , 365 days a year.. since late '06.. Casual promoter since 07.. It's a matter of if it REALLY IS ALL about the music, called ''Dubstep'' and if the promoters know their precursors ..

Not saying it should all be dubstep historians society stylee but is there still room for a true dubstep vibe in MTL or WHAT ! Even i find that the word ''dub'' is dragged thru da mud too often. (not only vibes/music wise but about ''the message in da dub'') !I know it sounds deep.

Although nobody cares nowdays. some baby promoter would book like borgore while the whole dmz fam has been locked way b4 by an old timer crew.. the same night :D (jus a stupid example)
Wadda mean tho? Keep it underground. IMHO
