At this point, GQ is essentially the embodiment of the stereotypical MC that ruins any single set he's chatting on. Any Andy C or older Pendulum set you can dig up, he's on, and he just never. ever. ever. fucking. shuts. up. Like ever. I just know GQ from the old sets I was raised on. the best MC I personally knew was our old Illegal Sound Crew MC in Toronto years ago - MC Enlight... he can do spoken word, jazz, hip hop, reggae, soca (he's Trini) dubstep whatever - that guy is a serious artist. having him MC for my sets was actually an honour, instead of an annoyance. I think with jungle/D&B MCs less is definitely more. minimal hosting is the way to go. like this clip for example ... MC Hooligan.. he's got a good voice, good timing .. introduces the DJ, says a few words here and there, but otherwise plays the background and lets Hype do his thing |

| Coolness: 50465 | People had quite alot of time to get tickets, extra tickets were even put out to meet a very high demand. The way I see it, 30$ tickets were sold therefor that should be the price of reduced list which I assume it will be and full door price is 40$. Imo it's worth it ... where else around here are you going to find an event of this scale ? |
