if you do drugs/drink why do you do it. is it a once in a while thing to experience an altered state of mind or is it an all the time sober is not an option kinda thing. and if you don't do either, what is your reason for staying sober. just cuz there are lots of threads about, this drug, that drug, why are they illegal, do people still do them whatever blah blah BUT, i don't think i've seen anything about why it is that people make the choices they do, because it is a choice. so what do you choose? |

 Coolness: 685695 | I do drugs and drink because almost exactly 1 year ago I was a very intollerable bastard who hated people that so much as smoked cigarettes, let alone did drugs. (The irony of this is that I was also an ephedrin addict)
I figgure the only way I'm going to improve myself after the last relationship that I fucked up because of how much of an ass I was is to become everything that I hated and everything that made the relationship fall apart because I wanted nothing to do with it. Drugs are an escape, and it just turns out that I like the effect enough to do them even if I have nothing to escape at the time. Drugs also help me dance, because I have rheumatoid arthritis, so dancing without the aid of some sort of amphetamine is near impossible for me on most days. |

 Coolness: 71355 | this is something ive been thinking about a lot because of recent experiences....i used to rarely do drugs but just hang around high friends and sorta catch the high offa them...this has now changed ;). i think the reasons i do drugs are to feel different and hopefully to learn something. Sometimes a drug experience can be really powerful and feels like it teaches various things. I use drugs as an escape sometimes, but generally i find that i'd rather take drugs when im feeling happy already. When i'm down i tend to drink alcohol, which just fuks me up more.... |

alcohol: dont do very often because it makes me disoriented, sleepy, and stupid cigarretes: dont do because its expensive and unhealthy weed: do occasionally because it clears my mind and is good in a social setting mdma: do very occasionally to remind me what it is like to experience a true emotional connection, even if its just illusory amphetamines: dont do because i don't need them, don't wanna be dependent on them for energy, and doesn't seem like a very worthwhile experience on either a mental or emotional level psychedelics: do occasionaly because of their enourmous power to expand, shift, and alter the thought processes that we become trapped into, allowing me to think on an entirely different plane than normal |

i smoke weed...exesively, i smoke too much, but i love the juana. I smoke because a) i think i'm actually addicted to tobaco b) it relaxes me when i'm stressed c) it smells good d) blunts e) cause i've got that mental addiction thing going on, and i constantly think about smoking joints cause i need help... f) uh...it's just good i do mushrooms, in hopes of being abducted by aliens and transported to their world, where i'd be crowned ruler forever...like last time |
