Pour être franc, ça prend les reins solides être promoteur. Capital, Organisation, Communications... Ouin, ça te prend du COC. Même moi j'suis pas certain d'avoir assez de COC pour en faire un. Mon conseil, abandonne; tu vas y perdre des plumes. Faut commencer par connaître la scène. Écouter les sets/tunes des DJs/producteurs locaux. Checker les "locations"/"lieux"/.. ta salle là. Pis leur demander à EUX combien ça coûte. [ rave.ca ] c'est un excellent outil de promotion, tout comme un flyer. I'm trying to be honest, here. I'm fairly convinced you'll fail. AND I don't think the Pound will even agree to your type of event. AND you don't seem to have money, by your own admission. .. AND, first events ALWAYS fail, in some way or other. Follow-up depends on how much of a failure the first party ends up being. My humble, yet somewhat educated opinion. |

Regardless.. Since when am I rave. ca's bitch? fortierdee, j'ai l'impression que t'as pas les compétences nécessaires pour faire un party. Ou du moins, j'espère que tu sais que ça va te coûter cher. Sinon, en 2001, la job de départ d'une production c'tait flyerboi. Ça a ptet changé. Tu sais quoi? J'connais des DJs trance de 2001. Ptet qu'ils accepteront de sortir de la retraite, mais j'ai malgré tout pas l'impression que ça va attirer foule. |

I was really worried it would fail, but maybe that's why it didn't we promoted the hell out of it for 2 months.. flyering, internet, word of mouth, and got our DJs to shout it out on their radio shows we got a good venue, had a serious lineup of respected DJs, got the place packed to capacity, everyone had a great time, and we made a lot of profit on our initial investment we had all our money to pay the DJs long before the night even started. we wrote that money off and didn't count on making it back. our *only* concern was that A - lots of people show up B - that everyone would have a good time ... which they did walking away with a lot of cash at the end of the night was just a really nice bonus hard work, common sense, careful planning and thorough promotion go a long way - and even then, acts of God can get in the way so I agree, if someone is doing a half-assed job in planning it, don't have a solid lineup, and don't have their expenses covered, then yes, they should expect to fail |
