| Coolness: 27460 | Im actually only 17, not 18 until november. Based on the fact that I'm looking for all ages or 16+ events, I'm pretty much gonna be going to whatever I can get. I generally prefer Electro, Breakbeat, Happy Hardcore, and Speedgarage, but I like everything. |

Summer of love at the docks - june 26. The promoter is unabomber. He's very hit or miss (his events latelt are either awesome or they are really bad - nothing in between. Very polarized outcomes). But this events looks like it will be good. You'll get electro for sure, along with a couple other stages. I dunno if you would consider it a stereotypical rave though. Elysium - june 27th. Its a old promotion crew under new management throwing their first event in a club. There's some excitement for it. Can't rly tell u much about it. National anthems - june 30th. DJ Dynamic is throwing this, and he always puts together great events. Its happy hardcore themed, so the kandi kids will be out in full force. He's an awesome promoter, throwing the best bouncy raves in the city. The age group is 16-24. Its definitely the one I would choose since you like happy hardcore; you can't go wrong with dj dynamic. cities shouldnt be a problem. And the reliability of quality is exactly how explained. Also Pride is the end of June the full week and theres lots of outdoor events with music going on as well. Maybe in mtl you can get into places that arnt too strict on id'ing to broaden your horizon their? |

 Coolness: 50915 | maybe its just me , but i heard that raves in toronto suck, or maybe it was ottawa, one of those two places have crappy raves compared to montreal, thats what i hear, ive never been to one , its just what my friends tell me , so i can be compeltely wrong. THe raves in montreal I do know are frickin amazing. Even if they get busted sometimes when they are underground. |

Yeah...the ottawa scene is on life support is what I've heard from someone who drives up there from gta for every rave, just to support it. The toronto raves are probly around what its like in montreal - monthly dark rave draws 500-1000 people, and dynamic has been getting 400+ out to hhc events. The dnb events get great draws as well. I remember dee telling me she went to an event in toronto and was very bored. Maybe it was the event? I dunno. You have to really pick and choose, cuz some events are awful |
