"popular "new-age" spiritual beliefs" hahahah i think most "new agey" stuff is fluffy crap. Health food and "new age" are 2 completely seperate things that are often grouped together to discredit vegetarianism. |

 Coolness: 685810 | They're not dying everywhere because, like everything in life, it's a process. Muscles and body tissue don't lose everything and become unhealthy over night, just like an apple doesn't rot 2 seconds after being taken off of a tree.
And for meat, don't you know that here in north america, they aren't alowed to put anything that comes from animals, wether it's feces or animals themselves, in the feed? There IS a reason that we don't have Mad Cow Dissease here in NA, and it's because of those guidelines. |

It's not like farmers are allowed to finish using their feed stocks that were banned because they bought them before the law was passed. It's not like they only get a slap on the wrist if caught using banned hormones/feed. And it's not like they get slapped on the wrist multiple times or fined a tiny amount instead of losing the right to raise cattle. The farmers would never dare add "protein" to the legal feed to boost their stocks weight/speed of growth. The authorities would never look the other way, they really do place health over profit. And i forgot about all those facts that that show that meat eaters live longer and are healthier. **** If you feel great eating meat,enjoy it. It's your life. But just like you can say "meat is great" i can say "i can say veggies" are great. |

I`m all for it! :) I think I was becoming anemic..lol..I apparently sucked at getting all the important vitamins and minerals I needed to be healthy! To all those vegetarians out there..mwah!! I`m proud of you!!! And all the meat eaters..I say we all get together for supper sometime and celebrate my new love for chicken!!! :) In fact, bring all the vegetarians and I`ll cook some great veggie lasgana :) *mwah*
