Unless they're old Technics 1200's I don't think anyone will be able to play properly on them ;) Keyword, properly. You can mix on them, but you'll be making a cringe face during your whole set. And yeah, charity is good - but when you consider the labor of picking them up and bringing them back..it's not always conveniant to be asking random people for their gear without offering compensation. the only problem is - sometimes assholes will lend you their gear in exchange for a "slot" at your party, try to avoid noobs like that. Maybe Vince will lend you his Technics. I can try asking him, and if you have a lift, all the better cause then he won't have to get off his ass to lift anything (not saying that vince is lazy) ;) If we all help out, everything can get done early so we can start partying like a motherfucker! |
