go on facebook and search "quebec sucks" or "fuck quebec" or something of that nature and you will find a ton of people bashing quebec and french people... it's kinda of sickening... it's almost always some twat from alberta who is doing this, i invite each and every one of you who loves quebec and our culture as much as i do to go and find all the people in these groups who say mean baseless and racist things about us and send them a message, nothing complicated, just 'fuck you' or 'shut the fuck up' or 'eat a dick bitch' i don't normally get all charged up about shit like this but i just can't take it anymore... |

" or something along that line so that being said, i think they are influenced much by the fast paced ontario bash it all angry mood. since ontario is in between right ? and we all remember UPPER / LOWER canada in our history courses. this war never really ended , their pissed for not having all the french womens , and their stuck with the brit lineage :) still joking but really i think all this mad talk is about misseducation / missinterpretaion / missinformation christ i even tought racism was over , till last summer i hear a few rooted quebekerz yelled " retourn dan ton ostie dpays avec ton depanneur " to the obvious... i mean i was sent back to 1987 right at that instant. i dunno whats with people teaming up together on these mindless issues . jackasses everywhere . ill be shure to tell them a proper innovative "diss" , count on me. something along " shitfuck light up and contribute to society instead of being a hitlernatzi flashback " ... or something :> |

| Coolness: 106095 | Quebec did not build itself on hydro power alone, it did with the fur trade, then logging, then manufacturing (witch has all since gone to china and mexico). Hydro has been a factor, but so has pork, aluminum and believe it or not culture. So comparing Quebec s diverse economy to Alberta s one trick pony is quite misleading. Besides Hydro Quebec belongs to Quebec whereas the oil in Alberta belongs to whoever is exploiting it, the Americans. |

The general message across these groups were just that they hate Quebec because they can't stand french people.And most of these people live in provinces where french is not taught, or if it is, is taught poorly.
Actually, what surprised me was all the posts from people living here withing Quebec saying how much they hate it and shit. Somebody please just pipe up and tell the whiny bitch that is he hates it so much, just fkn move already. Problem solved. |

Ronnie Rondeau, co-owner of the eight Game Buzz stores around Montreal, said he even fears bankruptcy. "I'm afraid it's going to cost me my business," Rondeau said. "If it really was going to make a difference, I'd be for it, but only a small number of people want to play in French. The rest don't care. "And money-wise, it's going to hurt." Rondeau said gamers are notorious for wanting new games the minute they come out. It's why he has had numerous midnight sales with lines stretching around the block. It's why he even carries Japanese games that won't be available in English for months. If there's a delay of even a few days, they'll find other options, such as buying online or across the border. Raffy Boudjikanian, who writes a gaming column for the West Island Chronicle, agrees. "Why am I going to wait for five more months when the next big game is right there in Plattsburg?" Rondeau cites the example of the popular Rockband game. The distributor didn't ship the English-only version for the Christmas rush, and a French version didn't arrive for six weeks. Delays can happen because translation can lead to game "bugs," such as text not fitting into graphic boxes on screen, said Haig James Toutikian, a professional Montreal game designer, who has dealt with such bugs, which can cause a game to underperform.
