"bunch of sides - side 1" hahahaha! that's great...

records are much nicer than CD's. even besides picture discs, just the fact that record has a BIGGER jacket surface for their art is already a major plus. but like cutter says, not too many bands push it like Tool; the cd album w/ the 3d art & glasses is really cool...

here's the famous old Led Zeppelin record sleeve with the wheel thingy that allowed you to rotate and change to pics in the the circles :)

got all the zep on wax, and yea i relate a lot more to this format.

its a junky medium still ( witch is what i look for ) . i prefer the way the lp/jacket deteriorate compare to cds, where the case will break , get "white-y" from having too much scratch on the plastic sleeve.

the big jacket is so annoying that it automatically gets more care from ware by manipulation, cds jacket on the other hand, are very delicate. (still the same for lp, but the style of deterioration man the style of it !!)

one i really loved was an immence 12 " on u-ziq / uwe and that breakcore album had a huge 3d maze block image on it ( indescriptible ) and the effect would never have been the same on smaller scale.
pretty much like the lens or the phase blur effect made from the toolband plastic cd case.

it hard to stick to a single medium, but anytime you ask me ill go for the 15or13"i think or 12" 10 " 9" 8" 7" 6" 5" x " etc... vinyl has better resolution all around.

as much as we bash hardtrance and goa . they made the most hypnotic picture disk on earth.

but im still not shure weather tool made the most or them... hard to tell the lithography looks beyond anyresolution attained in the 90.. but if i could find thoses record again..

i remember some of them having awsome textured brice images , and others complete image. like the megadeath symphony of destruction picture disk.
